Three problems related to engine have been reported for the 1997 Plymouth Voyager. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Warped engine head due to loose engine head bolts.
Consumer will provide VIN# upon receipt. The spindle/the timing chain is no longer useful. The mechanic said that the timing needs to be replaced. When trying to purchase, they were told that consumer needs to buy the timing chain and wheel which is now sold together . She could not purchase them separatly.
When driving at approximately 65-70mph the engine cuts off and causes the power steering and the abs brakes to become inoperable. The dealer cannot duplicate the problem because it happens intermittently. An accident has occurred as a result of this problem, no injuries were sustained.
