Ignition Coils Failure Problems of SAAB 9-3

Driving on turnpike and car hesitated very badly at 1/2 throttle in 3rd-5th gear at 50-70mph. Car stuttered so badly I backed off then engine malfunction light comes on for 10 secs, goes off and car then in a driving very poor - almost like its in limp mode. I belive it was limp home mode. Car felt like it was running on 3 cylinders with a hose blown off (not that I know what a hose is !!). I basically couldn't accelerate without the car feeling like it was going to fall apart. You could feel the car vibrating. I drove home very steady at 50 mph, being passed by all other vehicles. There are many problems with this model SAAB turbox 9-3 2. 8l v6 and faulty ignition coils. I just purchased my 2002 SAAB 9-3 from karz and more in longview wa. In November 2012 and drove about one mile went into a store came out and the vehicle would not start. The thermostat and the ignition coil pack were bad. Replacede the thermostat just once and the ignition coil pack twice. Car is still not running I have died on the freeway, in town, too many times to even count the car will start with a jump but wont run for very long before it dies. Frustrated and at my witts end! had a full diagnostic. . . . Showed nothing no one seems to know the problem. Its ran about a week since I have had the car ugh!.

Vehicle was stalling during acceleration , then fuel pump had complete malfunction . . . . After replacement, engine has always run poorly and almost always stalls during acceleration. Replaced ignition coil , and it didn't fix problem . I have talked to 4 other SAAB 9-3 owners for this model year and 2004 and every one has the same problem.
