Takata recall my car has a new power steering pump and still whines a lot when a lot when it's cold when it's cold it sounds really rough and it just don't sound to promising but even after it warms up it still has whine too it.
Tl-the contact owns a 2007 Saturn Aura. The contact stated that while driving at 10 mph, the power steering seized without warning and was difficult to maneuver. The contact pull over to the side of the road and pure fluid into the steering pump hose and while puring the fluid the hose broke. The contact drive the vehicle to his resident. The contact is an independent mechanic who stated that the high and low side pressure hose rock and pinion needed to be replace . The vehicle was not repaired the manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 129,288. Aw.
The master cylinder failure due to rod shifting and locked up front right brake. Burnt up the caliper, brake pads and over heated brake rotor. May have also caused brake fluid to overheat. Dealer charged for brake pads, caliper, machining of rotors, installation, etc. They misdiagnosed the abs hydraulic pump (which I also had to purchase) before ultimately replacing faulty master cylinder.
Takata recall - I'm having various issues. Majority of the issues are in motion when driving on highway or street way. I own a 2007 Saturn Aura xr with the 3. 6l v6 engine. When turning the steering wheel in either direction, it makes a moaning/groaning noise which emanates though out the passenger cabin, there are times when the sound gets really loud. It sounds like the steering pump or other mechanical part. I have been reading Saturn boards and with this vehicle, there has been a lot of people talking about the same issue that I have mentioned. I have not taken my vehicle to the dealership due to the vehicle being out of service warranty.
