Ignition Module Problems of Saturn Outlook

Water leaking from blocked drains in sunroof, now have to replace fuse box module. When it rains water comes from airbag on both farms by windshield, water collects at base of dash board on both driver & passenger sides. When pulling out key from ignition, key wouldn't release. Battery dead every morning due to car "thinking" it was on all night. Dashboard light issues & warnings for airbags & stabiltrack system. Replaced battery before finally having issues diagnosed correctly as an electrical issue. Looks like I'm by far not the first to report this "known" issue.

The contact owns a 2010 Saturn Outlook. The contact stated that the ignition module failed, causing the vehicle to stall sporadically and without warning on multiple occasions. The contact was able to restart the vehicle after multiple attempts however, each time the vehicle stalled. The vehicle was to be inspected and diagnosed by an authorized dealer. The vehicle was not included in NHTSA campaign id number: 10v073000 (steering) but experienced the same failure. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 108000.

Tl- the contact owns a 2007 Saturn Outlook. The contact stated that the ignition module failed, causing the vehicle to stall sporadically and without warning for years. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure several times but did not provide a remedy for the failure. The contact stated there was a noise upon driving the vehicle and various warning sensors illuminate on the instrument panel each time the vehicle was driven. The warning sensors show service traction, service engine light, service air bags, service abs brake system indicators. There was a leak in the sunroof which was diagnosed and repaired by an authorized dealer. The diagnosis was to replace the track. After the repair the failure happened again. The contact stated that the vehicle does not shift in and out of gear properly. The contact had to press the gas pedal hard to accelerate the vehicle. The gas gage reads intermittently. The brakes are not working. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer multiple times and the failures still recurr. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was unknown. Dyd.
