1 Front Suspension problem of the 2007 Saturn VUE

Failure Date: 11/10/2010

I purchased a 2007 Saturn Vue in 2009. I was never told or made aware that the tie rod attached to the two front tires was almost broken. One day driving very locally, it broke and was hanging there til I got home. I took it to the mechanic and he removed it telling me I had to replace it which will cost $323. I was also told by my insurance company this vehicle was in two accidents prior to my purchasing it but I was never told of that either.

2 Front Suspension problem of the 2005 Saturn VUE

Failure Date: 08/15/2008

Manual transmission on 2005 Saturn Vue 4 cyl failed at about 50,000 miles. Lost the clutch pedal and could not shift the car at all. Occurred while driving on the expressway. Got it to the dealer for repair and they knew exactly what the problem was. Slave unit failed, which also caused the clutch to be replaced. Paid about $1800. 00 for the repaid and Saturn would not acknowledge that they have transmission problems with their cars. Doing some research on the internet I found that there is a long history of transmission failures and suspension failures on the cars. I am not experiencing more transmission issues and suspension problems. I feel that Saturn/gm is aware of defective parts in their cars and refuse to make the proper repairs needed.

7 Front Suspension problem of the 2003 Saturn VUE

Failure Date: 09/19/2003

My 2003 fwd Saturn Vue has had constant front-end, steering, and braking issues that could result in a crash. The Vue has 34,000 miles on it. Since 10,000 miles, it has been in the shop nearly every month for loose front end suspension parts, loose steering parts, loose brake parts, etc. The dealership claims they cannot duplicate the problems. Once they are duplicated for them, they claim to replace parts and that the issues are resolved, although there is little or no change in symptoms. The vehicle does not feel safe when driving it, and the current problems may result in a crash.
