The check trans/motor light came on in my car . I made an appt. At Suzuki. It was on for 6 days. It went off, then the air bag light came on. It stayed on. I mentioned that there were loose wires hanging under my seat when I dropped it off. They said a wire came loose and that I should not put anything under my seat . I say that the wires are so loose that if someone put there feet under the seat, there feet could get caught up in the wires and unhook them. Then my airbags won't work, correct? . If I get in an accident and they don't work, would that be considered unsafe? the dealer said the wires had to be loose because the seat moves and that nobody could get there feet caught in the wires. Loose wires under a seat that control a safety device. . Sounds unsafe to me. . I took it in for the passenger side airbags right after I bought it. . They said wasn't broke and gave me a letter that says the passenger airbag light will come on if the passenger is not seated correctly in the seat. . Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. They fixed it this time, too much resistance.

Air bag light has been on since I purchased the car. I have contacted Suzuki several times regarding it and they say it is normal. Or I can pay to have it diagnosed. It is a safety issue. Suzuki customer service is horrible. I have signed myself up for a class action law suit.

The vehicle was taken to the service dealer who performed diagnostic testing which was connected to a scanner to retrieve codes; b1382, pass side inj. And reset to 0 high. There were unknown repairs performed at the dealer however, the air bag light remained illuminated. After the second repair, the problem persisted. When the manufacturer was called, the contact was advised to take the vehicle to another service dealer. I have a 2006 Suzuki Forenza purchased new. Since the first month I had it the airbag light has come on over and over. I have brought it to the dealer at least 7 times and they are now telling me they will no longer help me.

I got my car in February 2006, and a few months later after the car is still only a year old, the airbag light came on. It has not turned off since. I have been to the dealer four separate times, three of those times having diagnostics run. The first two times they could not tell me anything at all as to the problem, they had no idea. The third time I was told that I would need to pay for a more in-depth diagnostic to determine if the problem was in the wiring, the computer system, or the actual airbag. I refused to pay for this because my vehicle is under warranty and obviously this is of no fault of my own as the vehicle has never been in any type of accident. They told me this problem wasn't covered under warranty, but the way I see it, it is. This is a manufacturer's defect, which is obviously being experienced by many other parties. The fourth time I took my vehicle in, the dealer's body shop had a different manager. He understood that this could be covered under warranty and promised to call me the next day. He never called. I called him a few days later, the receptionist said he wasn't in and he would get back to me. He never did. Still haven't heard anything from them.
We've taken our car in at least 3 times beginning in Feb 2006 because the air bag light stays on. When we take it in, the reset something and the light goes off for a couple months then comes back on. Now we're out of warranty and they want to charge us to fix it.
2005 Suzuki Forenza air bag light illuminates intermittently. The dealer has been unsuccessful at trying to repair the air bag light problem.
The contact owns a 2006 Suzuki Forenza. The contact stated that the air bag and engine warning indicators illuminated continuously on the instrument panel. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer and an independent mechanic for diagnosis. The repair consisted of applying mechanical tape to the faulty wiring located under the driver's side seat however, the repair did not correct the problem. The failure recurred after the repair. The manufacturer was notified of the problem. The approximate failure mileage was 4,000. The VIN was unavailable.
