Two problems related to horn assembly have been reported for the 2016 Tesla Model X. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
My mcu went out and I had no working horn or blinkers. I was almost side swiped by a truck that was coming into my lane as if I wasn't there and I tried to blow my horn and I had no horn to alert him of presents in the lane he was and did merge and I had to hit my brakes to avoid him from crashing into us! this unsafe for a car that if your mcu goes out you loose some of your safety features that could save your life!.
The mcu is dead. Car cannot be operated safely. No side blinkers, no horn, no ac. At this point my car cannot even turn on and cannot be driven. Contacted Tesla, but it is not a safety issue and they sent me home as parts were out of stock. It is not safe to drive as blinkers don't work.
