Sidewall of tire showed a bubble after 24,000 miles on a 2013 Toyota Avalon discovered by dealer on routine maintenance. Contacted michelin and they sent me to a dealer that bumped up the price $25 over the price the dealer quoted and only offered 20% credit. I believe the sidewall is a manufacturing defect. I have photos that I can send. These tires are a danger to the reining public and need to be recalled before death or a serious injury results from the sidewall.

The following day while driving 65 mph, the rear passenger side tire suddenly exploded. The contact inspected the tire and noticed bubbles on the sidewall. Prior to the blow out, she discovered that the tire was becoming flat. The dealer refused to provide a replacement tire and the manufacturer was contacted where the contact filed a complaint. The dot number was unavailable. The current mileage was approximately 43,000 and the failure mileage was 42,755.
