The contact owns a 2009 Toyota Camry. The contact stated that while driving approximately 50 mph, the rpms began to rapidly increase and the speedodometer fluctuated with inaccurate readings. In addition, the abs warning indicator illuminated on the instrument panel. The failure occurred twice and the vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer three times. The second visit, the dealer provided an incorrect diagnosis and the third time they informed the failure was contributed to the abs computerized system. The vehicle was in the process of being repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the defect. The approximate failure mileage was 83,000.
