2 Other Fuel System Fuel Injection System problem of the 2013 Toyota Camry

Failure Date: 07/02/2018

I have a 2013 Toyota Camry xle. That smells like rotten eggs when you press gas paddle. The smell comes out the exhaust pipe. Vehicles that drive behind the car smell it, to the point they back off as far as they can get. There are any warning lights coming on the dash indicating somethings wrong. I've taken the car to the Toyota dealership three times and 2-Toyota automotive shops. Everyone states that because the check engine light isn't on they can't tell where the smell or problem is coming from. I've switched gas from regular to midgrade & from midgrade to premium. I've had an fuel injection & fuel induction, radiators flush and nothing helped. This is my 4th Camry and will be the last. I don't know if its the eco or because it's and xle. But its terrible. 😢.

3 Other Fuel System Fuel Injection System problem of the 2011 Toyota Camry

Failure Date: 11/13/2014

Wed am, Nov. 12, 2014, I parked my 2011 Toyota Camry se 4cyl in an airport parking garage. Weather was 31 f. When I returned from my trip the next evening, I started the car, organized some things for a minute to allow car heater to warm the vehicle while I sat. I then proceeded to back out of the parking space. Temperature was in the 20s f. I noticed the car was sluggish so I pressed a bit more on the gas pedal, but the car failed to go faster. After slowly backing out far enough, I put the car in drive. Despite reaching 2500+ rpm, the car would not increase speed. The speedometer stayed at 0 (zero) mph. I put on my flashers, and pulled, very slowly, to the right side of the garage lane, so as not to impede vehicle traffic. I continued to rev engine for 1 to 2 minutes. Only after revving the engine multiple times did the car begin to slowly respond. This flaw is a significant concern and could endanger live(s). Imagine if I am at a stop sign, awaiting to make a left turn on to a busy roadway. If my 2011 Camry's fuel injector fails to respond as expected, thereby responding slowly to me pressing the gas pedal, then I envision the likelihood of being in a horrific side-impact collision. I will address this issue with the dealership tomorrow. Winter is just beginning, and cold starts are going to be much more common (likely in much colder temps). I don't believe modern vehicles, with electronic fuel injection, should have this safety issue, or require much warm-up time.

4 Other Fuel System Fuel Injection System problem of the 1997 Toyota Camry

Failure Date: 08/23/2014

On Saturday 8/23/14 I was drove on sw walker in beaverton, oregon with the speed is 45rpm. Then I was smell the gas in my car. The smell of gas make me headache very bad. I drove home and checked underneath front of the car and see the leak look like oil leak on the ground but this is not the oil leak. It is the fuel leak. I opened the hook to checked for the leak to find where the leak come from? I found the leaked came from the fuel line from the fuel injection connected to fuel filter. The pipe was cracked and lead. Monday I drove 97 Toyota Camry to auto repair shop for repair the fuel line leak. The auto repair shop charged me $351. 12 for replaced the fuel line to stop the leak.
