I bought a 2000 Toyota Corolla ve in sept. 2001 with 28,000 miles on it. The car has been serviced regularly, . The engine has been consuming excessive oil. My friend has 1999 Toyota Corolla. Her car had the same problem. About one year ago, she went to a Toyota dealer. The dealer told her that some Toyota Corolla cars around 1998-2001 have the gasket problem inside engine. After she told me, I got my car checked and the document said that oil leaks at head gasket on the back side of engine. I dealt with Toyota company and they denied. I have seen some complaints about this issue at your website. I file this complain and hope that a recall can be ordered.
