I contacted my local dealership and they advised that they did not have a solution at this time. It is extremely frightening to know that your vehicle is not safe for you or your passengers. I have been advised by loved ones that takata was aware of this defect in 2004. Four years before I purchased my vehicle. It seems unreasonable that after buying a care brand new and paying in full that you should discover your life, and the lives of your family were not taken into consideration by the individuals that have been aware of this for some time. It is infuriating that they didn't offer a temporary solution, such as removing the air bag until the parts could be replaced. At this point I have to hope that my air bag isn't deployed for any reason, which makes me very nervous.
