Brake Electric Antilock problems of the 2008 Toyota Prius

While driving 20 mph, the brake, anti-lock braking system, vehicle stability control, and traction control warning indicators illuminated on the instrument panel. 2 Brake Electric Antilock problem

2008 Toyota Prius. Consumer states two problems with vehicle, the abs release momentarily causes a brief surge forward any time there is a small bump in the road when braking and consumer also states he nearly rear ended another vehicle at a stop light when he almost couldn't stop, even by putting his entire weight on the vehicle. The consumer also believed the pedals were designed too close together.

3 Brake Electric Antilock problem

2008 Toyota Prius. Consumer states brake problems with the vehicle. On several occasions, prior to public notice and the recently announced recall, the consumer noticed an unusual braking incident. The incidents happened while slowing down to make a turn. When she applied the brake, the engine raced for a split second and the vehicle surged for a moment.
