Catalytic Convertor problems of the 2005 Toyota Sequoia

1 Catalytic Convertor problem

Failure Date: 02/04/2006

Vehicle emits a rotten egg smell through the ventilation system whenever we step on the accelerator. Sometimes the smell is so bad that it burns our eyes and nose! Toyota acknowledged the problem, stating they could not do anything until a recall for the catalytic converter is issued. They further said that earlier year models (2003-2005) vehicles had the same problem!.

2 Catalytic Convertor problem

Failure Date: 02/28/2005

Upon acceleration vehicle cabin fills with a sulfur (rotten egg) smell. Dealership states they cannot duplicate. Upon pickup the vehicle exhibited the same problem within one block of the dealership.
