The contact owns a 2006 Toyota Tundra. The contact stated that while driving approximately 65 mph, a loud flapping noise emitted from the rear exterior of the vehicle. The contact later noticed that one of the two fuel tank straps was fractured and causing the fuel tank to partially detach from the vehicle. The vehicle was towed to an authorized dealer where both fuel tank straps were replaced. The manufacturer was notified of the defect. The approximate failure mileage was 122,000. Updated 11/5/cn.

I have a Tundra 2000. Most of the frame are corroded due to rust. While driving, hit a pot hole and the gas tank straps let go due to corrosion. Gas tank drop to the ground, luckily I pull to the side and no accident happen. Thanks god.
