Two problems related to air bag not deploy have been reported for the 2010 Volkswagen CC. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Takata airbags I had the recall repair done, shortly there after the horn stopped working and the airbag light came back on. Vw wants to charge me just to look at it. My ref # at vw is 180415119. Further more I was in an accident with a tractor trailer on June 14, 2018 and the airbags did not deploy.
Tl- the contact owned a 2010 Volkswagen Cc. The contact stated that while the driver was at a four way stop sign, while take off to go west, another vehicle coming south crashed into the front left of the vehicle, the air bag failed to deploy. The driver sustained neck, shoulder, leg and whiplash to the lower back that required medical attention. A police report was filed. The vehicle was towed to findlay Toyota dealer, located in 983 auto show drive, henderson, nv 89014, phone number: (702) 558- 6600. The vehicle was destroyed. The manufacturer was contacted and made aware of the failure and informed the contact that they would sent out a representative to inspect the air bags. The approximate failure mileage was 7,000. Aw.
