Three problems related to front driver side air bag inflator have been reported for the 2010 Volkswagen CC. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
2010 Volkswagen Cc sport. Consumer writes in regards to takata airbag inflator.
Takata inflators: dealer replaced the airbags due to recall but the service light came on after replacement and dealer made excuses when I took it in for inspection sticker. The driver seat belt sensor doesn't stop beeping. The trunk latch doesn't work and dealer can't figure out why the suspension has cracking sounds. Also had a fuel leak which they did fix. Not happy with my vw.
Takata inflators: I was notified of this recall almost one year ago, yet my dealer still does not have the parts. Watching a report yesterday I learned that the vehicles most vulnerable are those 6 years old and kept in a hot humid climate. My car meets both of these criteria. I am uncomfortable driving this vehicle.
