36 Electrical System problem of the 2014 Volkswagen CC

Failure Date: 04/25/2018

My vehicle start with the problem at 33kmiles. Now I'm at 37kmiles and it's happening daily. After starting the vehicle and putting it on drive, the brake will not work properly and started making a screeching noise. All of the warning lights on the dashboard lit up, the message center shows error with airbag, abs brake, vehicle stabilization. . . Etc. I am afraid for my life, this vehicle is not safe to drive. I would stop and turn off the engine and restart the vehicle, sometimes that reset the lights and other times that does not help. The biggest concern is the brakes noises and the power steering gets unstable, and afraid the airbag might not work properly in case of an accident. I just update the airbag from the last recall. I can't drive with my baby in the car because of the issues.

37 Electrical System problem of the 2014 Volkswagen CC

Failure Date: 04/20/2018

The car is stalling upon accelerating while in motion and at a stop it jerks back and forth. The car shakes when accelerating and putters even when the car is stationary.

38 Electrical System problem of the 2010 Volkswagen CC

Failure Date: 03/28/2018

I just recently bought my very 1st. Used 2010 Volkswagen Cc. After I bought it, I realized that the master window switch on the drivers side doesn't work. The car is showing only 45,000 miles on it. So I would have to reach over to the passenger side door, to get the window to roll up. Also, my heater isn't working. I hear the fan running at different speeds, but only coolair coming out. On top of that, the fabric on the headliner is coming down. I found out that in order to replace the headliner, you have to get the front windshield removed to get the headliner out. Ridiculous! car manufacturers have been around for many years. Car have got faster and safer throughout the years, but the headliners still fall down. It's not acceptable! use better adhesive, better material. Take more pride in your product.

39 Electrical System problem of the 2010 Volkswagen CC

Failure Date: 02/21/2018

Electrical power to the fuel pump control module. I lost power on a the road while in motion.

40 Electrical System problem of the 2013 Volkswagen CC

Failure Date: 01/11/2018

Car has stalled 2x while driving on a highway. When trying to accelerate, the car will buck and hesitate at about 2k to 3k rpm and have virtually 0 acceleration. The epc light will kick on and then the car has slower acceleration but it does not buck and hesitate. The issue happens when the car is cold and warming up. When the car stalled, I was downshifting, and then the battery light came on. The car just died. Had to pull over and then restart the car. The car would then buck and hesitate again until the epc light came on. I am afraid this will happen when crossing a road and cause an accident.

43 Electrical System problem of the 2010 Volkswagen CC

Failure Date: 12/04/2017

The "steering column lock defective" message is common in the 2009-2010 vw Cc model, vw issued a recall that expired on February 28, 2013. This is a serious safety issue that can cause the car to stall in transit. Vw should issue a safety recall on this issue and to ensure human safety. My vehicle just started to display the message when the season changed, from my understanding it's a common issue that vw fails to take full responsibility for and instead shifts the costs of a known defect to its customers.

44 Electrical System problem of the 2012 Volkswagen CC

Upon attempting to start the vehicle, an error light turns on and message displays the steering column is defective and continues to flash/beep. If I try to drive the vehicle, steering feels loose when driving. Sometimes vehicle does not start at all and states active immobilizer, sometimes the car dies just after starting and steering column locks up.

45 Electrical System problem of the 2013 Volkswagen CC

Failure Date: 11/11/2017

As of November 2017 my Volkswagen Cc has become inoperable and a safety hazard due to the fuel pump control module - recall 20ae. At any given time why driving my car will completely shut off in traffic daily/consistently. Notices were sent out to us in October about recall but still says no repair information available at this time. Dealer has yet to resolve issue. Under my rights it's unfair and I should have to pay for this to be fixed in which there is a pending recall. This is a very urgent matter which should not be stalled off nor delayed any longer. Can someone please assist me immediately with getting the proper repairs and my vehicle being fixed. Thanks, eric wheat - Volkswagen owner.

46 Electrical System problem of the 2012 Volkswagen CC

Failure Date: 11/10/2017

My car has left me stranded twice. It all started when my fuel pump started to leak gas all over my car. Once I got the fuel pump replaced. My vehicle ran fine on my way to the store but when I came back to my car it turned over and let me pull out of my parking spot but then died when I went to put it in drive in the parking lot. I attempted to jump my car but it did not work. I replaced the battery on 10/9/17 and it appeared to solve the issue. On 10/29/17 I drove my car up north to payson. It ran completely fine until I shut it off to go to the creek. When I came back to my car it would not turn over again. I bought a battery and replaced it yet again. This time the battery did not help get the car to turn over the only thing that showed up was an epc light. I left the car over night and came back to it the next day it started up just fine with no epc light. I took it to a repair shop and they were unable to diagnosis anything wrong with the car. I picked my car up on oct 30th. It ran fine with no hesitation up until the morning of 11/10/17. While driving on the freeway my car lost power and would not accelerate. I was able to pull it to the side of the road. My epc light, check engine light, and battery light all came on. The car would not turn over again. I reached out to the dealership and they told me to contact customer care through Volkswagen. When I reached out to customer care all they told me was to go back to the dealership and that they can't do anything for me because the recall is not complete. They have no offer of a loaner car or anything while I wait for them to fix the issue. So I'm left with a car that randomly shuts down and loses power from time to time. This is not acceptable.

Brake light wires in the truck are fraying because the wire coating is too stiff and frays when the truck is opened multiple times. This is a fire and safety issue. This is on my 2009 Volkswagen passat Cc. I do not see a recall on this.

49 Electrical System problem of the 2010 Volkswagen CC

Failure Date: 09/26/2017

The contact owns a 2010 Volkswagen Cc. While the contact's son was driving approximately 40 mph, the vehicle stalled. The contact was unsure if any warning indicators were illuminated. The contact's son was able to restart the vehicle and drive home. The contact called tracy Volkswagen (686 iyannough rd, hyannis, MA 02601 (508) 775-3049) and an appointment was scheduled. The contact stated that she received a recall notification for NHTSA campaign number: 17v509000 (fuel system, gasoline). The failure mileage was approximately 100,000.

50 Electrical System problem of the 2010 Volkswagen CC

Failure Date: 09/15/2017

Vehicle will stall out while driving or pulling out from a stopped position. It is very dangerous as it does this on a daily basis. My daughter had it stall out on the interstate while giving it gas to pass another vehicle. She was in the middle of the interstate sitting there and called 911. The vehicle restarted but put her in a very dangerous position on a busy interstate. There is a recall on the fuel pump and electrically that was issued a year ago -- however there are no parts to fix it they say. We have not been notified of any parts. I have called vw and they said that if I took it to a dealer for diagnosis they might could help with financial assistance. I took it to the dealer and they said there was no code indicating that the fuel pump problem existed. However, I explained that the car is doing exactly what the recall says is happening. I am so frustrated and feel that vw is putting our family at risk on a daily basis. We need this part and repair done on our car immediately. Waiting over a year when a known problem exist is just not right -- when this can put a life at risk. If the car stalls out pulling out in front of another vehicle or going down the road on a busy interstate when giving it gas to pass a vehicle is just a horrific accident waiting to happen. Numerous lives could be impacted.

51 Electrical System problem of the 2011 Volkswagen CC

The contact no longer drove the vehicle to prevent a potential failure or safety related situation should the failures recur. The manufacturer was notified. The failure mileage was not available. VIN tool confirms parts not available. Dyd.

53 Electrical System problem of the 2017 Volkswagen CC

Failure Date: 07/16/2017

Vehicle was parked, returned to vehicle and headlights were on, instrument panel lights were on, as well as airbag lights, brake lights, and e-brake light was blinking. The vehicle was unresponsive to the remote and I was unable to get inside the vehicle. It was towed to the dealership at which point they kept it for 5 days to attempt to replicate and resolve. They engaged their technical teams and could not determine the issue after 5 days. They've requested that I pickup the vehicle and advised if it happens again to bring it back. My concern is that this is an undiagnosed electrical/computer issue that could pose a safety issue if it happens while driving, particularly on the freeway at a high rate of speed. I simply want to ensure you're made aware of the issue and potential risk should this be something beyond just my vehicle. I also have videos of the issue as it was occurring that you are welcome to request from me. The dealership was also given access to the videos.

55 Electrical System problem of the 2012 Volkswagen CC

Failure Date: 05/29/2017

Takata recall. On a daily basis my car loses all electrical power and shuts completely off while driving on a city street, highway and has even happened while turning. It's a tremendous safety concern, as I have to stop in the middle of the road, put the car in park and try restarting. This has caused several car pile ups behind me. Vw stated they are unable to pay to have this recall fixed and stated that I would be responsible for replacing the fuel pump and fuel module. I am not able to cover these expenses. This should be the responsibility of vw corporate to cover and fix this recall.

56 Electrical System problem of the 2009 Volkswagen CC

Failure Date: 04/14/2017

I was in motion at speed over 60 on the highway and lost control of my vehicle. The only reason I didn't crash was because there was no traffic. It suddenly slows down and stops. No control in gas pedal. I took my car to the cerritos dearlership and was told my car was out of warranty. I took it to another dealer to fix and it was over $2000. It was fuel pump control module. My daughter had the same car and issue but she traded her car for another brand.

57 Electrical System problem of the 2010 Volkswagen CC

Failure Date: 01/01/2017

When either slowing down or coming to a stop my car starts jerking , I attempt to accelerate and I cannot , my car seems to going into a neutral state. The drive (d) gear flashes so I am stuck. I have to put my car into park (p) turn off my car in the middle of traffic then turn it back on to drive. Also, if I am in the drive (d) gear and I need to go in reverse (r) I have to put into park (p) then turn it off and then move into the reverse (r) gear. This started happening intermittently, I took it to vw and they didn't see anything wrong with it. I took it to the local o'reillys and they saw a p2711 code, I took it to a local transmission repair and they told me they get a lot of these complaints and suggested I report it to you. I I also called the vw dealership in tallahassee FL where I purchased my car they told me it could cost anywhere from $5000 to $1100 to fix. In my research I saw the same thing happened in australia where a lady died because the gear shifted from drive into neutral while she was driving. I am afraid for my safety and my daughters who ride with me. Vw needs to recall the dsg transmission and implement a fix.

60 Electrical System problem of the 2012 Volkswagen CC

Failure Date: 06/15/2016

On certain vehicles, there could be an interruption in electrical power to the fuel pump control module. This could result in the fuel pump running continuously, resulting in a drained battery and/or a no start condition, or cause a loss of motive power while the vehicle is in motion, which could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property.

61 Electrical System problem of the 2012 Volkswagen CC

Failure Date: 06/10/2016

"takata recall" will the problem be fixed, I do not want to purchase another car at this time, but it looks as if I will be forced to do so. I also have some electrical issues with the car the air pressure in the tires and the lights keep going out to replace them every 4 to 6 months is crazy. . The dealership here wants to put me in a new car and as he said eat the cost to replace, why don't they just pay off the car and I can cut my losses and start over with a car of my choice, I'm being forced back into a vw car?.

62 Electrical System problem of the 2009 Volkswagen CC

Failure Date: 11/18/2015

The epc and engine lights keep coming on even after I have the vehicle serviced. In one instance, as I was driving on the highway to the vw dealership, the car began to slow down and would not accelerate. Traffic was sparse, so I was able to safely get to the shoulder of the highway. At the vw dealership, I had 3 of the coils and 4 spark plugs replaced. On the same day that I had them replaced the epc and the engine lights came back on, there was a message on the information console stating that the engine should be serviced, and the car powered off. The car was stationary in my driveway at the time.

63 Electrical System problem of the 2012 Volkswagen CC

Failure Date: 09/28/2015

My vehicle first had an abs light illuminate which caused an abs failure. I've read this is a common problem. Then most recently I had an epc code illuminate in addition to a check engine light. This caused the car to lose rpm and start misfiring. I had to replace all 4 coils on the vehicle. While at the shop my air conditioned stopped working correctly only functioning when on the 4 position. I hate this care more than anything and can only pray that vw may find it in their heart to buy it back!!!!.

67 Electrical System problem of the 2012 Volkswagen CC

Failure Date: 12/17/2014

My steering wheel electrical and air bag stopped working after I made a turn while driving. I found out it was the clock spring after taking it in.
