Side/rear Glass Problems of Volkswagen Golf

I have a 2002 Golf tdi with manual windows. The window regulator clips broke and the window dropped into the door. This is a known issue with vw's that a service bulletin, (0603), is out on, but only for power windows. The part that os defective is common to both types but since my windows are manual I have to pay $191. 00 for the part. If vw is replacing one type free of charge they should be replacing both. The part is defective - manual or power windows. . .

Driver's door window "exploded" while parked - totally fractured and a section "blown out" with the glass on the ground outside the vehicle.

Once again, inconvenienced by window slider/regulator failure. First it was the passenger side window, now the driver's side. The window froze in the down position with only a grinding noise when I attempted to power the window back up. I immediately got on the phone and attempted to schedule an appointment for repair. Unfortunately, none of the local dealerships could offer me an appointment that would get make back on the road in a couple of days. Thus, I just showed up at one dealership when it opened and managed to get my car serviced quickly and the repair was billed as a warranty item. Filing this report because this is the second window on my car and this could be a safety issue depending on the conditions involved. Thank you.

The driver side mirror showed signs of discoloration, the dealer installed a new mirror, at that time the dealer installed the wrong type of mirror and they replaced it. The knob used to adjust this same mirror broke and was replaced as well, also the passenger side rear window would not go up or down.
