Suspension Noise Problems of Volkswagen Jetta

I just purchased a 2019 Jetta r line and since day one I have a grinding noise coming from the transfer case or the transmission. It's always there at around 50km/per hour for about 2 sec. Like many others said it doesn't feel right for me. I hope vw will take action and do something about it. On top of that I lost all my radio presets and the screen has started to freeze. I also notice a knocking sound in the rear suspension over normal bump.

I was driving along the road and was hearing a abnormal creeking sound. It persisted for a few days and went away. After a few weeks the sound came back, but this time much louder. I was driving back to my appartment and I heard some metal clinking and then saw a piece of metal bounce down the road behind my car. Part of the suspension coil broke off. This was on a city street, driving straight down the street.

Delayed air conditioning; it takes 5-10 minutes for ac to blow hot air. I checked on forums & youtube and so many other owners complain about the same issue for Jetta, golf, and gti. The suspension makes squeaking noise going over a bump only when the weather is freezing cold. Again, many owners complain about the same issue and even have videos on youtube.

Oil seals leaking oil all over engine, major carbon build up failing axles. I was driving on the road and the car made a major thud and check engine light came on. Took car to dealer next day and they found all seals on the engine are leaking oil and water pump has failed and major carbon build up in engine. Found oil on ground of my garage. Front suspension known to make crunching sounds when going over major bumps when cold.

Suspension rusted out. . . Springs, arms, bushings, the entire front suspension system both left side and right, with exception of the shocks. Sudden clanking noise, front end scraping the uneven roadway surface. Vehicle parked until it could be looked at by technician, and the front end just rusted apart, including springs fell out upon the lift of the vehicle. . . . Absolutley no tire wear to indicate any issue prior, or steering compromise. . . Was told by the technician the "this usually is seen on the passat, not Jettas". . . . Vehicle has 97000. Miles. . . . Vehicle is driven highway and city street use. Vehcile was involved in and accident, it being struck in the rear end, while in motion on a city street, violently by another vehicle on 04/04/2014, damage to the trunk ,hatch, rear bumper, and firing mechanism on the drivers side seatbelt engaged rendering the seatbelt unable to function and needed replaced.

Recently, I heard some bumping from the back of the vehicle while driving. I took the car in to get repaired, and they told me that the coil spring in the right rear had broken due to corrosion and that it need to be fixed or that spring could pop out while driving and cause the suspension to fail. The Volkswagen mechanic stated that this was a common problem with the model. I had the spring replaced, but I am concerned that the other spring may have the same failure while driving. With the vehicle being only 5 years old, I am concerned that this is a problem for other drivers that do not pay as close attention to the sounds their cars make. I believe this is a safety issue that should warrant a recall.

I leased my 2006 Jetta 2. 0 in January 2006. Currently the car has stalled on me 4 times and I have had numerous failed starts. The vehicle fails to start when I use the main key and the valet key. This problem has become pretty consistent now that I have put more miles on the vehicle. I am now at 20k and its been a headache all the way. I can only be thankful that when the car stalled on me on numerous occasions that I was not in heavy traffic. The dealership says that they can not identify the problem and therefore there is nothing that can be done. Supposedly, the car starts without a problem when it is in their service bay. In addition, when I first got the vehicle, my back seat latches were broken causing the back seat to lunge forward during hard stops and turns. This made my Jetta a two passenger vehicle! also, the hazard lights and switches were malfunctioning. The front suspension or the brakes make a grinding noise or they have a loose feel, I haven't been able to put my finger on it yet. Im taking it to the dealership once again tomorrow! my steering column make a faint squeaking noise during turns, I have no idea what that problems is. In the morning after I can get the car started the engine is loud for about two minutes. The dealer fixed the latch problems but the other problems go unfixed and remain a huge mystery.

I recently purchased a new vw Jetta tdi. From day one, the car's front suspension felt and sounded "loose. " at 700 miles I took the car to the dealer, who informed me that the bolts for the car's tie rods and other parts of the suspension were not tightened to specification. It is obvious that the car came from the factory like this. This could have led to a catastrophic failure.

Transmission failed. The dealer replaced the part. However, two weeks later the part failed again. The vehicle would not go into reverse. The transmission slipped and the vehicle had run into a pole at a gas station on the right front side. This problem remained the same. The engine light had come on along with the transmission problems. Other problems were: the tire pressure had to be reset on numerous occasions, rear pads, a/c was not cooling, glove box, power windows, console, power sunroof, interior trim, steering/suspension, driveability, trim electrical, sound system, and heating/cooling. The consumer did not report any damage to vehicle when she hit the pole.

Dealership has attempted to fix creaking suspension noise 3 times. Unable to diagnose problem, or fix it. Problem is getting worse. Exterior noise when driving over bumps, holes in road, and when turning right, or when steering wheel is turning right. Definitely not an interior creaking noise. Worried about safety b/c dealership is unable to diagnose problem. Not sure if the problem is a suspension issue. Please help get this fixed?.
