Warnings Problems of Volkswagen Jetta

After only 312 miles new and only driven vehicle for 5 days. I received a warning about my forward collision warning system was a problem. Weather has been good. Not wet, temp was 72 degrees. I just started my car and had not driven yet. Chicago area. I set up a maintenance service to see the cause of it. Never saw this before on any of my previous vehicles especially brand new 2025 model.

I was driving 50 mph and hit a very large deer. The airbag did not deploy and there was no warning.

I purchased my car used. In the past 3 years I have had problems my headlights became increasingly dim I checked my fuses and it had blown so I replaced it. Upon doing so my windshield wipers that had just been working no longer moved. But my headlights worked. Then my passenger window would not work with the drivers door controls. I can put it up but not down. I have never had the front collision warning work. Nor the lane departure the tire info used to work. Now it doesn’t. I toook my car into be caked and I was told that everything except the windows and wipers was fine. The wipers had a blown motor. Replaced it and they are good the window motors are dying? and need to be replaced. Also when in cruise control it will accelerate for just a second before slowing to the speed set at. Love the Volkswagens family has had four others and never had smyproblems.

When accelerating from 1st gear to 2nd gear, the gear gets stuck. . Rpms spike high and the car won't go any faster until it gets unstuck. This has caused issues while in traffic, nearly getting ran over by cars behind me. I can't accelerate as normal when pulling onto a road, there's the risk that the transmission gets stuck and I can't move forward. This car is only 5 years old.

Front headlight assembly: 1) the hid halogen lights- (a. ) the main ds3 buld continues to burn out not lasting longer than a month. (b. ) the ballast also than shorts out (c. ) the high beam does the reverse effect making everything black (d. ) the low beam do not work right as I cannot see obstacles in the road clearly- when driving at night; I only have my front drivers side headlight and fog light assembly to depend on primarily. The passenger lights when somewhat working; are dim and when the hid bulb burns out- all I have to depend on (for that side of car) are my day running and for lights. 2. ) forward collision warning senors are not working making it too late if obstacles detected 3. ) the drivers side seat warmer stopped working.

Bad bearing in left front wheel. Radio shuts down anytime even when reverse camera is active. Front collision warning and auto braking for clear road, no obstruction. Smog warning override when check engine light for fuel system delivery done by mechanic at flow vw of greensboro nc. Car has been in shop for all of these problems and nothing has been fixed. New radio installed but it still shuts down whenever. Every repair they have done has only damaged more parts of the car.

Hit a pot hole in the road and vehicle completely shut down and will not crank. Diagnostic code u0100 is saying that the ecm and pcm are no longer communicating. If I had been on the highway or in a high traffic area that could have been a life threatening situation as everything is run through the electronics of the car.

I was driving on a active snowing highway at 7pm when an alert appeared on the dashboard to “check starter system” and “pull vehicle over…”. During this time im on the highway going about 6mph and everything electrical turned off including my headlights and windshield wipers turned off. I was able to activate my hazards and pull off the highway but due to the snow and everything electrical cutting off my windows fogged up and almost caused me to crash into a semi-truck. I have googled this issue and it seems to be very common for this specific vehicle.

Many fault lamps lite up on panel. List: brake light, adaptive cruise control, asc, power steering lamp, seat belt lamp and sometimes the seat belt alarm goes off when seat belt is clicked in!,abs,air bag lamp is intermittent,epc lamp is intermittent. Problems have been confirmed independent auto repair center and vista vw of pompano beach, FL. As far as safety sometimes the engine goes into limp mode during driving a few minutes after starting. Having to pull over quickly to get out of the flow of traffic. To stop the engine after a few minutes it does restart.

While traveling on I-40 in van buren, arkansas, I was involved in a hit-and-run accident. The impact caused significant front-end damage and resulted in physical injuries. The vehicle’s dashboard/electrical system indicated airbag:error, and the police report reflects that airbag deployed yet we have photo evidence that the airbag did not deploy. However, photo evidence clearly shows that no airbags deployed for any occupants. The airbags remained completely intact following the crash. The vehicle is a certified pre-owned 2019 Volkswagen Jetta that was still under warranty at the time. This raises serious safety concerns regarding the accuracy of the airbag deployment system and the failure of the airbags to function during a serious collision. The vehicle is being held for preservation at the CO-part yard.

The forward collision system does not work. When the system is activated it does not work. I bought the car new in April 2022. I activate the system all the time while driving. To this day the system has never warned me [no dash light or audible sound warning me to brake].

Received an abs break light flashing on my dash board. Went to the valley Volkswagen dealer in staunton, va and confirmed the abs module needs to be replaced. This is the same part that was on Volkswagen recall 45f2/45f5 abs and stability control becomes inoperative. With a warning a loss of vehicle control can increase the risk of a crash. This is a safety issue and needs to be repaired as soon as possible. I'm driving an vehicle that is unsafe to drive. Please include my VIN # in this recall. Thanks.

Cars front assist would alarm while driving on road like it was about to hit something then it started saying front assist not available. Sensors are malfunctioning and vw is not covering the cost to fix and telling car owners to turn off front assist when turning car on. Causes car to brake out of nowhere for no reason.
