The rear driver side taillights and turn signal quit working, replaced bulbs still broke. Airbag warning light stays on, this is the same problem that many of the vw have. My VIN shows that 5 repairs have been fixed if these are supposed to be fixed it didn't work. Recalls were over before I got the car so what am I supposed to do? these problems occur whether I'm stationary or moving.

These steering wheel components stopped working: horn, turn signals, high beams, windshield wipers, and cruise control. Not sure if air bag will in case of a car wreck. Instrument panel displays the following message: "button for driver assistant system defective". Been an ongoing issue for the past since buying the car 2013, roughly 5 years ago. Volkswagens technicians repaired the issue multiple times on seperate occassions *while the vehicle was still under warrant.
Same turn signal issue as 04v584000 recall - turn signals and hazards worked periodically. Now they have stopped working all together. . Nhtsa recall 04v584000 for other vw models of this year, but not Passat. Is common for this year of vw Passat also per my internet research. Vw Passat needs to be added to this recall.
