Brake Light On Problems of Volkswagen Tiguan

Brakes starting squealing periodically when applying the brakes lightly, with only 1,000 miles on the vehicle. Took the vehicle back to the dealership and they said it was normal. Brakes now squealing nearly all the time when brakes applied lightly, not so much if braking heavily. Vehicle has 5,000 miles on it. Had another vw dealership look at it and they said the same thing, it is normal and not a safety issue. Handed a brochure to convince me it ok.

I drive my new car on the highway to the brakes, twice I stepped on the brake, but the brake is like something is stuck, the car didn't stop, I brake for the third time, the car is stop, almost hit the car in front, I park my car in the way of an emergency, after restarting the car, the brake can be used, but after about two hours, I found that the brake light is on.

Brake system I brake, but the pedal was really stiff, hardly moved and the car did not brake. Only long hard pushing finally succeeded. (auto hold switch was off) my other issue is when I'm driving on the highway and put on the brakes lightly, it feels like I slammed them on! both issues keep happening intermittently and is very dangerous! I have almost rear-ended people! I purchased the vehicle last year and have had the problem since then.

For no apparent reason many indicator lights signal at the same time indicating tire monitoring system not available, license plate light not working, left turn signal not working, brakes lights do not light up, esc not functioning. Trunk also will not unlock. It can be reset (I think, it worked on one episode) by multiple (10-15 times starting and restarting car) as this default has only happened a few times and I have been away from home I am unsure exactly what resets it. Starting and restarting the vehicle this many times can not be good for the vehicle engine etc. The vehicle system did this error a few times over a couple of days, stopped then starting doing it again. Vehicle drives differently when the error occurs. It starts out from a stopped position and the vehicle feels more like it is driving with the rear tires and feels like it is slipping. These defaults are extremely dangerous, had to drive home post snow storm with all of these malfunctions, no brake lights and no left turn signal and no esc. Vehicle only has 28,700 miles on it.

Grinding sound when braking, now seems to have evolved into brake failure, all of a sudden the brake red light it on and the parking brake is on, and will not go off even when directions are followed to disengage parking brake. Yellow p light on. Car seems to lurch forward at times or hesitate at others. Will have to take to local dealer.
