Stopped by a red light waiting it to change. I was on a 2 lane road ,turning into a 6 lane road to go into a shopping center. My foot was on the brake as always, the car was in drive. All of a sudden the engine started to rev extremely high. The brake barely stopped me from hitting the car in front!I then put it into neutral and pressed the accelerator to lower the rpm. Car was towed to coral springs Audi. They couldn't find anything wrong! something is wrong. Audi A4 convert. Approx 21k miles. I really like this car and wish they would have found something wrong. I know the Toyota issue and it is ironic that it happened around the same time. This is a major issue. This needs follow-up big time! thanks.
