Engine Burning Oil Problems of Audi A6

Car is leaking & burning oil and is having electrical problems open short to ground I only had the car 2 months the fuel system is malfunctioning my engine light & my epic light is on smoke is coming coming from the engine & the engine is shaking roughly & these are some of the recalls but there saying the recalls have already been taking car of but seems like the problem is reoccurring. I was idled in a parking lot when this problem started. I feel like this is a safety issue and my car could possibly catch fire.

Excessive oil consumption. Under normal driving conditions, the engine light came on to add 1 quart of oil 3,000 miles before the next service interval. Only 22,000 miles on the car.

Engine oil leaks. Wife (main driver of vehicle) reported strong smell of burning oil. Dealer mentioned that this is a common problem and that manufacturer has covered repair for other owners. Manufacturer declined assistance for our model year (1999 with 37,000 miles) even though they would approve a 2000 model year with up to 62,000 miles.

Car burns oil 1/2 quart/1000 mi. Almost runs out before warning light comes on. Audi says this is normal- we have had two emergencies on the freeway where we almost ran out of oil. Also, it is very hard to read the oil dip stick- it is artful not useful. Rotors (all) failed at 14k miles and had to be replaced. We are advised we are not alone. Audi corp arrogant and will not respond. Throws everything back to dealer. Dealer fixed rotor problem at no cost. Tried to charge for oil test repair. Believe there are design issues in both instances. Audi has learned nothing from their past problems- they are the most arrogant business I have ever experienced.
