The recall performed on this vehicle were not performed. They played a [xxx] man made him get athe recall performed on this vehicle we’re not performed. They played a [xxx] man made him get a timing chain for morris Cadillac. I have several receipts from the vehicle being serviced because of the faulty windshield washer heater system that was supposed to be disabled caused an electrical short in the vehicle because it was not properly sealed water got in the wires and caused the computer to be fried this happened before the car still only has 67,000 miles and they won’t even take it in. The car stopped in the middle of the road almost killing everybody. I’ve had several technicians explain that it’s because of the faulty. Recall that they did not fix that is still exposed. All of a sudden when I started my car, the lights flickered constantly, the power steering failed, and it blew my starter and fairly new battery. I was so scared; I thought it was going to catch on fire because it smelled burnt. And I was on [xxx] in hubbard ohio, and I was trying to get to [xxx] and safety to which I did. Thank goodness for aaa. I was told this happened because of a plug in wiring to heat or warm the washer fluid. It is available for inspection. My safety was impacted because, I had no power steering, flickering lights and smell of burnt stuff. My problem was fixed by an independent shop. My vehicle was not inspected by a gm dealer or my insurance. Was inspected by an independent shop that it was towed to. Warnings prior to incident: I would turn the ignition and nothing. But that would only happen several weeks apart. I thought maybe the starter was going, but it was odd because it was so many weeks far apart that it would happen. It might have been a total of 4 times since October of 2024. During the incident, power steering warning came on, charging system came on and the car sounded like it was barely running. My 2013 has only 75k miles on it and all the dash lights flash and the car fails every couple of days. It has a brand new battery but the gauges on the dash continue to dance. I’m not sure what the problem is but it’s a huge safety factor in drivability.

Driving to work on very busy highway. The engine light and service battery charging system came on, then went to battery saver almost instantly. Radio cut off, heat cutt off and the car cut off in the middle of the highway before I could safely get over. This caused me to fear for my life as the cars behind me barely had time to stop. A hair probably could not have fit between us. I did eventually safely get off the highway, had the car towed to a service center. There was 14 different codes. (low voltage, engine running lean, low voltage and more. Battery was checked and was 95 %, alternator fine. Was told it was the ecm. After looking on google some sites say there is a recall for 2013 Cts some say there is not. There are multiple complaints on this issue and it is not safe. I called Cadillac gave my VIN number and was told there was not a recall. Cadillac/GMC really need to issue a recall before something tragic happens, as it almost was me. Thank god that it wasn't.
Airbag warning light and service air bag on dash. Code b0087-00 left rear sis. Replaced sensor, still getting warning. Sensor is in lr door. Research revealed possible known issue with bending fatigue from routine door open/close motion and subpar wire size/material causing wire failure. Opened wire harness at pillar and green/black wire was completely separated at typical bending point. Light blue wire was not visibly broken (insulation still intact) but the wire within was broken upon removal of insulation. These are the two wires (light blue and green/black) to the impact sensor. Please investigate gm use of substandard or undersize wiring in entire srs system especially at bending fatigue potential failure points. Three pictures attached - one picture showing initial finding of green/black broken wire but light blue still visibly intact (insulation only), one picture showing same in close up, one picture showing both wires are not intact (light blue wire was inspected further and determined insulation intact but wire within was not intact) and insulated separated with fingernail pressure only. Wires should not fail within typical lifetime of a vehicle. Uncertain on operation of system, but could short between two wires and/or grounding cause airbag to deploy without accident/at random causing personal injury to occupants and/or an accident because of random deployment? date of incident is when wiring issue was discovered and pictures taken upon discovery.
Center console screen again has stopped working, no access to settings for the car nor any way to correct settings at this point. Many of the settings can be critical to safe driving of the car and have no manual alternative. This is the second screen in 50k miles.

The contact owns a 2011 Cadillac Cts. The contact stated that the vehicle was experiencing a water leak. The contact noticed that the front driver's side seat, door arm rest and floor were significantly wet after rainfall. The contact stated that the failure later occurred on the front passenger's side of the vehicle. Additionally, the contact stated that the vehicle was experiencing electrical failures. The contact stated that after turning off the vehicle, the infotainment system, the heating system, the a/c, and the engine failed to turn off. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, where it was diagnosed and determined that the fuse box and wiring needed to be replaced due to the electrical failure. The contact stated that upon disconnecting the battery and removing the fuse, the vehicle turned off. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, where the contact was informed that water was leaking onto the wiring on the floor. The sunroof drain was unclogged; however, the failure persisted. The vehicle remained with the mechanic, where it was undergoing additional water entry tests. The vehicle was not repaired. The dealer and the manufacturer were not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 100,000.

Vehicle purchase statement – top tier auto I, [xxx] , purchased a vehicle from top tier auto on [xxx]. The vehicle details are as follows: VIN: [xxx] warranty: 30-day coverage for the transmission and engine after owning the vehicle for only 15 minutes, I entered the freeway, and the car began to shake violently. Shortly after, a gentleman driving behind me alerted me that sparks and fire were falling from beneath the car. I immediately pulled over, just before the engine burst into flames. The columbus police department responded to the scene and had to extinguish the fire. This incident occurred within minutes of purchasing the vehicle, despite the supposed 30-day warranty covering the transmission and engine. The contact owns a 2006 Cadillac Cts. The contact stated when the vehicle was started with the key in the ignition, it was difficult to shift from park(p) to reverse(r). The contact stated that once she was able to reverse the vehicle onto the roadway, it was difficult to shift the vehicle into drive(d). The contact turned off and restarted the vehicle and was able to shift into drive(d). The contact stated that while driving at approximately 30 mph, several unknown warning lights illuminated on the instrument panel. The contact pulled over and turned the vehicle off. While attempting to start the vehicle, it was difficult turning the ignition key. The contact stated that she was unable to remove the key from the ignition. The contact stated that she was only able to jiggle the key enough to turn the vehicle off. The contact called a local dealer and explained the failure. The contact advised the dealer that she had a recall letter from the manufacturer for NHTSA campaign number: 14v394000 (electrical system). The dealer advised the contact that the key that was stuck in the ignition was not part of the recall. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not informed of the failure. Well I am uncertain but we have two 2006 Cadillac Cts and both have had multiple transmissions replaced. Multiple differential problems and air bag and wireing problems.
Ever since I purchased this 2008 Cts vehicle, I have dumped thousands of dollars to repair the vehicle even after the "recall repairs". Problems persist and the car has become more dangerous than ever. The vehicle had inspected by the dealership a number of times the first 5 years of ownership the first 3, listed below, were the replaced recalls from dealership, the rest are known safety issues that gm denies to admit to faults and recalls. *ignition starter replacement (still have starter failure issues after 2 repairs from gm) *washer fluid warmer removal (they just snipped the wires and removed the component but left hot wires exposed in vehicle) *motherboard ecm replacement recall(ecm is still faulty and has caused dozens of electrical issues. **************** battery drains over night. On my 6th battery (just bought new one 3 days ago) gauge cluster never recalibrated and is completely disabled. Don't know how fast im going how much gas or any other info related to. Sunroof constantly leaking, flooding vehicle and destroying the electrical components which fried many relays including the door lock and power window components vehicle refuses to turn but cranks on fuel often will not allow a fill up ecm throwing irrelevant codes headlight failure due to seal defect that allows moisture into headlight casing frequent oil loss. 2018: vehicle engine failure whilst driving on freeway with zero warning nearly causing a fatal crash. Purchased new alternator (shade tree auto in san clemente) and had to pay 2000 for tow and alternator transmission failure and near miss collision into another vehicle on a steep incline road I have taken this vehicle to a multitude of repair shops and auto supply to get a diagnosis. Even the dealership didn't have any answers. Now I am out of a car. And money. These issues had been confirmed by rorick Cadillac, shade tree auto, oreily, s and s auto, auto zone.
Car went crazy one day while behind the wheel everything malfunctioned then car shut off and won't start again. I could of easily got into an accident had there been any other vehicles around. Kids were scared. Codes come up as u0100,u0140,u0101,c0242,b0081-0f,b0081-71,b1370-01,b1370-06,u0155-00,u0170-00,p0856-00.
May car just stopped working come to find out water was leaking from my sunroof which I always keep my closed. Found out water in leaking from sunroof to my mom board now mechanic is saying to take to dealership I no its gonna be a lot of money to fix electric issue smh.

I was pulled over by the police because my 2008 Cadillac Cts license plate lights were not working and my rear brake lights were not working. These light failures were caused by a known design flaw with the wiring harness in the trunk lid near the right trunk lid hinge in where the wires inside the harness that go to the brake lights break in half after repeated opening and closing of the trunk lid because of the poor design of the wiring harness and it’s mounting brackets. There should have been a safety recall from gm as I could have been killed if a car in back of me did not stop because my brake lights were not going on when I would step on my cars brake peddle! now the car dealership service center wants to charge me $335. 00 to replace the broken wires that were caused by gm/Cadillac’s poor and unsafe design of this wiring harness. Heated seat when turned on caught on fire, burned me & the seat has burned leather. No warnings or lamps came on. It is available for inspection upon request.
Water leaking in car like raining in car. The car radio and air conditioner panel wouldn’t turn off . It was draining batter after car would be turned off. Then after that water continues to leak. Took out fuse to stop from draining battery but had to buy new battery. Water continues to leak through car. Now ignition switch unable to turn off car . Unhooking the battery and fuse only way to turn off car. Take car to good year for diagnostics and was told water in car ( this I know cause I see raining in car. ) this problem has been on going for a few years with the raining. I being unknowing that this would happen. Unable to give goodyear 4000 dollars to fix problem with no guarantee it would fix problem. My friend that owns shop had to take seats and to find the water in bottom of car and wiring harness and bcm and fuse box as well programming need to be done this as well is info from diagnosis from goodyear. Everytime I get out of car just to turn off I would have to lift hood disconnect fuse and then disconnect battery cable . This in it self is unsafe to have to do. Cadillac was a dream car for me. It has become a nightmare. Cause this had been on going in other Cadillac made between 2008 and 2011 . I as well have videos of water in bottom of car and I have had to have car sealed to stop leaking only solution for now. Car is paid for. I need GMC to just know how unfair it is fir them to have knowledge of this problem and put the public at risk of danger. Hopefully after 2011 GMC fixed this problem in on going Cadillac cars . I am just disappointed in the corporations disregarded for public saftey. Once again I always loved Cadillac. Had an opportunity to have one and it has been a nightmare . Our 2017 Cadillac Cts-v has all of a sudden a cracked cue screen. The car is garage kept and only has 14395 miles. It just spontaneously cracked. The dealer that is fixing it is making us pay $125 deductible to get it fixed even though there is a class action law suit currently for others that have this same issue. The whole cue screen cracks in a spider web like formation and makes the screen very difficult to read.

The side detection light in both side mirrors stays on even when the vehicle is turned off. This may cause an accident while driving the problem is confirmed by the dealer no no.
On 8/24/2021 approx 9:45am I returned home from the market as I was parking my vehicle (backing into a parking space) ishift my vehicle control to the rear position and it lock up it was stuck and would not release I was shocked and upset because the front of my vehicle was still in the way of passing vehicle so I tuned my front wheels in as much as I could but that was all I could do I had to keep my foot on the breaks so that my vehicle would not roll back and slam into the truck behind me , I call the dealership fc kerbeck 100 route 73 north palmyra n. J I told them what happened and that I was upset and did not know what to do I still had my foot on the breaks because I did'nt know if it was safe to turn off my vehicle or what after I was disconnected I called back and I was informed on how to safley shut down my vehicle . My vehicle had to be towed to the dealership I found a recall on the issue from general motors June 2014 saying that the driver may not be able to shift the transmission in and out of gear due to the shift cable not begin secured and that it could slip out of the brackets and the driver will not be able to stop the vehicle from rolling resulting in a ccident when I mention this to the dealership they claim that they never had any recalls on thid saftey issue I purchase my vehicle in 2017 so they were well aware that this could be a saftey issue some where down the line but they failed to make sure that the consumer was aware of this issue that they could have better control if something like this should happen I was so up set and shock that this had happen my gears were lock down I could not at that time move my vehicle. My is this information not made available to the consumer when they buy these cars then a few years later when it does ealership blows you off and act as if you are crazy this is a saftey issue that could cause your life.

While accelerating from a stop, my vehicle loses all power temporarily. Throttle modulation does not increase rpm. At times the vehicle will jerk forward and back as if power is being put down then stopped abruptly. One time I had this happen, my lights, gauges, power steering, and engine power all went away. It fixed itself after about 15 minutes of trying to figure out what was happening. Very dangerous and scary experience when this happens on the road.
Vehicle was stationary in our home garage. It would not start, it would start when jumped but died shortly after. We had the battery tested, it was bad, we replaced w a new battery. Car started right up, but would not cut power once the key was removed from the ignition. Car dings and dash and radio are on as if keys are still in the ignition.
Cue display panel suddenly has strange web-like defects in right side of panel. Vehicle has been mostly parked in shaded driveway due to covid-19 closures and restrictions. Driven 2 -3 times a week on grocery trips.

The Cadillac cue display for radio, info, hvac, nav, etc. Has begun to crack (aka spiderweb cracks) which has no made the touch screen unusable and begun to degrade vehicle ca0pability. The display frequently blinks and makes emits random audio tones both of which are very distracting while driving and causing a safety hazard.
Cadillac cue screen cracking, creating a spider web appearance on the screen. Car was stationary in drive way all day and night. When I want to drive it the next morning the crack appeared on cue system. No one had used our touch the screen during that time. Over the next couple of days the spider web kept spreading. It's impossible to see the anything on the left side of the backup camera. Gps is difficult to read on left side .
The cue infotainment system was jump and move around and will not respond when touched. The screen is cracked. It was repaired once while under warranty. It is now doing it again now that it is no longer under warranty. It is unsafe and very distracting while driving because of all the movements of the screen.

Mine is the timing chain slips caused from wrong valve cover gasket and the life on the oil.
