Failure Date: 04/01/2015

The contact owns a 2007 Cadillac Cts. While driving at 55 mph, the vehicle stalled and the service theft system warning light illuminated. The vehicle restarted. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where it was diagnosed that the engine control module needed to be replaced. The module was replaced but the failure recurred. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer and it was determined that the ignition failed. The contact was informed by the dealer that their vehicle was not included in NHTSA campaign number: 14v394000 (electrical system). The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 90,000.

2 Ignition Module problem of the 2006 Cadillac CTS

Failure Date: 10/01/2014

Between 12/2013 and October 2014 my car blows out electronic control modules a/k/a e. C. M. S possible causes are the ignition and or fuel gauge shows momentarily no gas motor shuts off and stalls while driving.

Failure Date: 04/07/2014

The contact owns a 2003 Cadillac Cts. While driving at approximately 35 mph, the vehicle stalled. The failure recurred on multiple occasions. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic. The mechanic diagnosed that the ignition module and switch failed. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 190,000.
