Vehicle Shudder Problems of Cadillac CTS

I was driving my 2018 Cadillac Cts between 50-60mph and I lightly tapped on the gas and the car started shaking and vibrating. Felt like it could be a transmission or a engine misfire. My cars transmission also shifts very very rough kindly jerky which creates a unsafe environment while in motion. This is a consistent issue and with my car and only having 12,000 miles on it I find really concerning. This vibration only happens between 50-60mph and the rough transmission shifting happens as I drive it along with vibrations are coming from the engine which shake my entire car. All services are up to date. Cadillac and gm are both not sure of what the issue can be even though there is a pending class action lawsuit for the same issue.

Tl-the contact owns a 2014 Cadillac Cts. The contact stated that when driven the vehicle vibrated. The contact stated the vehicle was taken to an unknow mechanic that replaced the alternator, fuel pump, battery and found that the timming chain had failed. The timiing chain was not replaced. While driving the vehicle I have experienced issues with the automatic transmission issue when the vehicle shifts gears. The car will vibrate when attempting to shift gears and cause me to occasionally have to slow down or speed up in order for the transmission to shift into the next gear. The issue is reflecting in the rpm gauge, which when this problem occurs the rpms appear to bounce up and down until the gears fully engage. I have experienced this issue while attempting to merge onto the highway where the car will vibrate while upshifting and I will have to either let off of the gas pedal or push down more in order to make the issue stop. Shifting is far from smooth in this vehicle. Issue has been occurring since March of 2015 when I purchased the vehicle. I have already taken it to the local dealer, which I have been told Cadillac and gm are aware, but the dealer was advised not to conduct any repairs.

The contact owns a 2004 Cadillac Cts. The contact stated that while traveling 35 mph, a humming noise emitted from the engine compartment. The vehicle vibrated and the engine light illuminated on the instrument panel. The contact mentioned that after the speed increased to 60 mph, the vehicle no longer vibrated. The manufacturer was not contacted. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who diagnosed that the transmission needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 57,000 and the current mileage was 57,565.

Vibration in car above 62 miles per hour. Steering wheel shakes in your hands. Taken to dealer twice they have rotated and balanced tires twice no improvement.

We own a 2003 Cts Cadillac with 40,000 miles and still under warranty. I have had the car in for repair several times for the same reason. The car shakes at certain speeds. Eg. 47, 59,65,69, and 75 miles per hour. The wheel actually shakes in my hands. It is a problem with the transmission. Cadillac stated it was characteristic of the 2003 Cts. Maybe an escort but not a Cadillac. They offered to extend the warranty on the transmission to 100,000 miles. Whoopie. I now must drive a car that I feel is dangerous to drive.
