: the contact stated while navigating slowly through a parking lot the vehicle lost power. After multiple attempts the vehicle was restarted. When the vehicle was restarted the battery warning light came on and went back. The vehicle was driven directly to the dealership. They were unable to identify the cause of the problem through the vehicle's built in diagnostic system.
Positive terminal on the battery fell off the battery, causing the battery to leak, and burn a hole in the base of the battery compartment inside the vehicle under the back seat. Currently, vehicle has no electrical power.

Consumer recently purchased a two-thousand one Cadillac Deville. Upon inspection of vehicle cosnumer found that battery was underneath rear seats of vehicle. Consumer felt unsafe, and returned vehicle to dealership. Please provide further details.
