The dashboard is literally falling down in to your legs and feet. I had a large piece fall on my legs and feet while driving. I have never had any work done on the car where they have to remove the dashboard. There are pieces of black plastic that fall out of the dashboard area all the time. I have had to tape the light switches into place with duct tape. And the radio and a/c control area I have proped up with a shelf bracket to try and hold it in place. The vehicle was in motion on a county road when the large piece fell down.

The first two occurrences, she was almost stopped or moving slowly. The sensor illuminated on the instrument panel for overheating. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer who diagnosed and repaired the head gasket. After the repair, the failure recurred and the vehicle was taken back to the dealer who diagnosed that the rods and crank shaft plus the engine needed to be replaced. The contact was not able to get the parts from the authorized dealer to replace the engine , rods and the crank shaft. Engine sudden shut off while driving on high traffic highway resulted in loss of power steering and quick reduction in vehicle speed. Driver made efforts to pull over out the traffic but faster traffic from behind caught up with the disabled vehicle and resulted in number of collisions. In total three vehicles were severe dammaged and two other drivers were injured. Cause of the failure is attributed to failure of the cranck shaft sensor.
