One problem related to brake disc caliper has been reported for the 2001 Chevrolet 2500. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Rear brake calipers locked up due to rust around pistons. Replaced calipers and while bleeding the brakes the brake lines ruptured one by one also due to excessive rust and corrosion.
