: the contact stated there were grinding noises and an increased stopping distance while brake pressure was applied at various speeds. The vehicle was seen by a dealer. The dealer determined the brake discs defoliated and there was metal on metal resulting in poor braking. The dealership replaced the brake pads and rotors which corrected the problem.
