This is happening to my car. Would like them to fix it . Manufacture defect and it is a huge safety issue. Effect pedal function. Some customers may comment on an intermittent malfunction indicator lamp (mil) being illuminated with a message or an indicator that displays reduced engine power. The technician may observe on a scan tool dtc p2138 - accelerator pedal position (app) sensor 1-2 correlation set as current or in history. This condition may be caused by water intrusion into the instrument panel (ip) to body harness connector, which carries the app sensor signals to the ecm/pcm. This water intrusion results in a voltage difference between app sensor 1 and app sensor 2 that exceeds a predetermined value for more than a calibrated period of time, setting p2138. This technical bulletin provides repair information for repairing the ip to body harness connector to correct a customer concern for intermittent malfunction indicator lamp (mil) illuminated with reduced engine power displayed and dtc p2138 set. The vehicle caught fire while travelling at approximately 40 mph on the highway, us route 93 at exit 33, south in massachusetts, and burnt and the gas tank exploded. There was no accident preceding the fire. The vehicle is a total loss.

You can't drive it anywhere it runs right then for no reason it loose power and won't accalrate while driving it will drop below 10 mph in traffic or lose all power while crossing road or turning I'm afeead I'll b hit in side or ran over in traffic.
I was rear ended by another vehicle while driving in traffic on the highway in slow and go traffic. I was driving at a slow pace, about 15 mph. The other vehicle was traveling at about 30 mph. When he hit me, he forced my vehicle into the one in front of me. My airbag did not go off. My car burst into flames about 5 minutes after the accident. The flames were coming up from the engine. My car is totaled as a result of this. I am 12 weeks pregnant with twins. One of my placenta's has a tear in it and is bleeding as a result of this accident. I will have to be on bed rest for the remainder of my pregnancy. I am at risk of miscarrying one or maybe both of my babies.
Overheating,they told me the thermostate opened and didn't close. No warnings,nothing to let me know this happened. Blew the heads. I was driving on highway,just started shutting down. While backing up my vehicle I shifted the transmission from drive to reverse. The engine immediately accelerated to approximately 500 rpm. I immediately put my foot on the break, shifted to neutral, and turn the ignition to off. I was able to immediately restart to vehicle with no problem. This has happened before two or three times. Onetime while the vehicle was in drive and I had to press hard on the break and shut off ignition to avoid an accident. I seems like it mostly happens when it is cold outside ( in the 30"s f) . I think this is an unsafe situation and an accident waiting to happen.

My 2009 Aveo standard transmission looses power for no apparent reason. No faults detected. Car has 99k miles.
This Aveo has only 7,552 miles and when accelerated to pull out it has no power. When you do get out in road it only goes 15-20 mpg even when acceleration is to the floor. I had to pull over to the side of road-turned it off and restarted then drove it about 2 miles and it did it again-very dangerous-unsafe-hope someone looks into this.

My car has had multiple issue within the 8 months is have had it. My car has 68900 miles on it and is a 2011. My car was in the shop for a total of two months because, my breaks stopped working on the interstate, it was running hot, my acceleration ( pickup speed) will not work properly. My car is always drifting to the left when I do drive. My check oil light came on, took it to the dealership and had a full tank of oil. They told me again nothing was wrong. A large amount of liquid comes out my car after parking it, assuming it is from my a/c but its more then usual. My a/c does not get cold all the time, its pretty hot. My steering wheel has been shaking since I purchased it, when I go up hill my car wont go past 40 mph, then when it reaches to 60 mph it wont stop increasing, when I hit my break going down hill the steering wheel shakes, and the car too. The dealership keeps telling me nothing is wrong with my car.
The car has lost power while driving on 3 occasions so far over the past 3 years. Each time this happened, I have been driving between 25-45 mph in a residential/suburban area. I have had to roll to a stop and pull over on a busy road. My gas nor breaks worked at all while this was happening. I turned my car off, then on, and it worked like normal again.
So as I'm driving (in motion) whether it be 30 mph or 70 mph my car dies out. Does not shut off, but I do not have any acceleration. I have to immediately pull over because I cannot move. I spoke to mechanics and they are saying it is the throttle body. As I research this, there has been so many complaints regarding this against gm and nothing not one thing has been done. Do they not understand that as your driving 70 mph and then have no control of speed in the passing lane or regular lane that you can get killed my another car? if you go under Chevrolet you can see complaints about this. I asked if this was under warranty and it is not. It is not part of the power train. Yet gm knows there is a defective part and they are just not willing to fix it. They will wait til someone dies first and then fix it. I am filing a complaint regarding the throttle for it is just not my car for I have researched how many cars this has happened to, and knowing that gm knows about this indicated on complaints to gm this needs to be fixed for safety reasons. If something was to happen while I was driving my grandchildren around or when my daughter drives the car I will never forgive gm. Especially where they know about this part. Now I put this as of 11/1/15 but that is not the only time it's been ongoing since then. I am very worried to drive this car, yet it is very expensive to have this fix and it is not under a $2,000 warranty insurance I purchased when I bought this car. April 2014 is when I bought this used car and have had it towed 2x already and engine lights on 2x had to have repaired. So thinking there has to be recalls on this car and nothing is being shown.

While driving on i95 my rpms dropped to zero without warning and I was able to get it off the road. The tow truck driver said the engine was blown. It had 63,504 miles on it and the required maintenance had been done less than 1600 miles earlier. No lights or warning. Luckily I was able to get it off the road safely.

The gearshaft won't come out of park. I had this repaired at the dealership about two years ago and it is now happening again and paid $300 for a ground wire. My car currently has 90000 miles on it. Driving home from work, stopped at a store in a parking lot, car ignition would not turn off, could not get car keys out of ignition. Drove to a dealership, who said the ignition needed to be replaced because it was shifting. Said it would cost 4 to 5 hundred dollars, did not have it fixed. But since then, it has been difficult at times to get the car to turn on, or if turned off, hard to get keys out. A valet could not get it to turn off and when he finally did, could not get the keys out,so he left them in my car. I think this has something to do with the gm faulty ignition switches.
I was driving and the car slowed down in traffic. It then started to buck then die out! when I started it up again, it started and drove for a short period and died out again in traffic! I have had two or three O2 sensors replaced, even in the first year of ownership,, new off the lot. This vehicle has had the signal switch replaced, the clock went out two years ago, and now it loses power in traffic. This is proving go be a very dangerous vehicle and I hope no one has to die before something is done to remedy the situation!.
I fell asleep at the wheel went through the median while driving down the interstate where the speed limit is 80 outside douglas wyoming. As I woke when the car was in the middle of the median my car impacted a concrete culvert and went through the guard rail onto the other side of the interstate where it finally can to a stop across the other two lanes of on coming traffic all with no air bag deployment.

They sold me a car with the abs lights on the traction lights on, the tire pressure lights come on and my doors lock and I have to climb over to the other seat to get out. The salesman knew these lights were on before I signed the papers and my car is still not fixed. This past winter I had no heat and got caught in an ice storm and my windows iced right over I could not see and hit a pole by my driveway and dented and scratch the whole right side of my car. It is carbone auto that made it so my Aveo caught fire. They would not fix it, the car would never shift right the motor would whine out and they said OH that is the way a 1. 6 liter car runs. I had the fidelity extract warranty and they would not fix the Aveo I have lost 6400 dollars on these cars and it is the dealers fault, what do I do now my 2008 impala VIN is 2g1wt58n189258620 the salesman name is nathan dailey he knew these lights were on before I signed the papers he said it would be fixed. 8 months later still not fixed.
