Starter Problems of Chevrolet Aveo

Coming home from work on highway. . Going up small incline speed started to drop. Then shut off. Smoke from under hood would not start. Made a clicking noise. Computer read several codes relating to knock sensor. Was replaced (2nd time) and codes cleared. Still not starting. No codes showing. Starter also replaced. Other relay sensors checked. This car has been an expense ever since purchased.

Since, I obtained the vehicle from phone# 909-379-3256 go=motors christopher in hemet, CA. It has had problems. 1) no ac, 2)problems with starter & starting vehicle, took it back and 3) forth to dealer4x problem never resolved took it to another dealer friend 4)who repaired and charged me $1500. 00, 5) as of 3/31/16 there has been a loud rattling in the engine, I had the oil charged and the mechanic @ walmart said it 6) sounds like a timing-belt or water/fluid pump rattling, and be careful it doesn't blow. So, the vehicle is setting in our driveway. Your move on resolution. Please inform, next move, I do not want to keep making payments for a lemon of a vehicle? I enjoy driving such an economical vehicle, but!!! 7) I have a loan with premier auto credit, artura caldas 818-933-4966.

Car would not start. Put charger on it and even tried jump starting it. Car would not even engage the starter. Engine lights would not come on and needles on the gauges would flicker up and down. Had to have dealer come and get it. They told me they had to put a charger on it for an hour before it would finally start,but did not know why cause the battery is good. Said hope it was a fluke or a module did not wake up? and to bring back if does it again. Charged a $129. 00 for labor and tow even though have a 6 year bumper to bumper warranty. I have a feeling this will not be the last issue.

I bought this 2007 chevy Aveo brand new with only 9 miles on it. After I put about 33,000 miles the a/c went out. . . On a brand new car! then the console with the shifters lights went out, blinkers would stop blinking and just stay green. I went to start my car at 10pm and it wouldn't start it acted like it was going to be then kept clicking. So I jumped it and drove around to charge the battery. I had the battery tested and they said everything was fine. Go back and the next morning it doesn't start again, all I got was a clicking sound when trying to start the car. I took it to a mechanic and he said that it could be the starter or the alternator and that I should pay to get them both tested and replaced if needed. There has got to be some type of a recall if I google it and everyone has the same electrical and engine problems. There is no way that a 3 year old car should be needing major a/c repairs, electrical, and engine repairs so soon. Please please please look into this!!.

Currently own a 2006 chevy Aveo hatchback, with just over 20,000 miles. Purchased new. Have been noticing within the last month that occasionally when attempting to start vehicle, I get a buzzing noise, and engine will not start. Must turn key again to get vehicle started. Seems to be a defective starter or ignition switch. Will be getting this checked ASAP. ***have also noticed this problem once in my mom's Aveo sedan, also purchased new in 2006, currently with less than 10,000 miles.
