Within 8 months of purchasing my vehicle I started having problems with opening the drivers side front door. The vertical moulding attached to the drivers side triangle window would overlap the drivers door when the drivers door was shut. This made it very difficult to enter of exit the vehicle which could be thought of as a safety hazard. It was brought in to the dealership where I purchased the vehicle to be fixed 7 times. Three of the times they replaced the entire side triangle window, yet it still kept happening. The last time I brought the car in was 11/19/1999. The problem looks to be fixed now but only time will tell. The dealership has said that they have seen other Blazers with this same problem, yet not as bad. It seems to be a design flaw which should be taken care off. There is a possibility that if there was an accident where the Blazer caught on fire, the driver may not be able to quickly exit the vehicle due to this problem.

Severe water leak--left side of windshield.
While driving the windshield will not come on , when turning the windshield on there is a humming sound. This has happened several times.
My windshield makes a popping sound almost every day at any time I drive - early morning, mid morning, afternoon, etc. Sounds like glass is contracting or expanding due to temperature. I have never owned a vehicle - previously 4 hondas - that the windshield made that type sound. The popping sometimes sounds loud enough like a rock hitting the windshield - no other vehicles are around. This has been occurring for some time. I mentioned it to the service man when last I had my 'regular' service. I am concerned the glass may become a problem or actually break.
