Brake fluid reservoir leaking and dripping over engine internals. This is a known issue with see service bulletin: 09-05-22-005c. However, gm is stating this will not be repaired unless the vehicle is still under warranty. Upon encountering some braking issues with the vehicle, I inspected the reservoir and discovered the leaking fluid, which has started to eat away at the paint in the engine bay. I'm very concerned the fluid will leak out and cause a fire, or cause my breaks to stop working completely. As an attorney, I would think that gm would want to limit its liability and repair this issue to, regardless of warranty coverage. Shouldn't this be a formal recall?.
