Every sense the car was bought from the dealership and it would rain the trunk leaks and holds water to cause electrical damage and problems. I took it back to the dealership and they said they didn’t see a problem but there was a problem. Currently I am so hurt to have a car I can’t drive under raining conditions and now my trunk smell of moldy and its problems due to electrical issues. The trunk leaked enough to cover the fuse box caused lots of electrical problems.

Engine began to shudder as if the engine wants to turn off. It can also feel as if there is some issues with the drive axles. It leads to loss of power of the engine. The loss of power goes away upon shutting the engine off and turning it back on however the check engine light remains on and the error code p0420 displays on the reader.

The transmission shudder from bad transmission fluid results in major loss of power and makes it unsafe to turn left on green on green . . Makes me afraid to pull out knowing it might shudder and not get out of the way in time for city traffic. . .
There is a shudder in the transmission that causes a hesitation in acceleration and or a shudder that I feel is unsafe. Looking online there are a lot of people having this issue.
I noticed an occasional shudder at highway speeds. Traveling between spokane to coeurd'lene, a 30 or so mile distance, two episodes each way. The shudders are noticeable and there were very slight shudders before which I thought were hesitations before the last time I drove the car. I have had a difficult time to get it in the dealer as soon as I mention shudder. I was able to schedule a transmission flush without mentioning shudder.
The contact owns a 2017 Chevrolet Camaro. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the gear shifter was rough while switching gears. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed with a defective transmission. The dealer informed the contact that the transmission needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and a case was opened. The manufacturer advised the contact to file a complaint with NHTSA. The failure mileage was approximately 20,000. The VIN was unavailable.
Reduced performance/reduce clutch use.
Vehicle shakes badly when it wants to stalls without any symptoms. All of a sudden the car makes metal rod knocking and scraping sounds I checked oil and it was gone. No oil leaks fresh oil metallic color in engine oil. Just financed this vehicle 2011 chevy Camaro with 50,000 miles and don’t have a warranty. A car engine should not seize out of the blue at low miles and no oil pressure light indicated low or no oil. Very dangerous I lost acceleration going up hill and totally stalled. This needs to be fixed and recalled especially oil pressure light should of illuminated.

Synchronizer problem shifting into 2nd gear. The car on occasion (hot or cold) has trouble shifting completely into 2nd gear. Happens under normal every day driving conditions or while trying to accelerate hard and shift into 2nd. Car feels like it went into gear, but when you release the clutch it grinds the teeth on the synchros due to not being fully in 2nd gear.
I began slowing down for a traffic light and experienced what felt like a car hitting me from behind. The problem is, "no one was behind me". A few days later I began noticing a distinctive shutter between 40 -70 mph. Under my seat, " it felt like I was going over rumble strips . I began researching this issue and learned that gm issued a service bulletin ( 18-na-355 ), and the problem is a "known issue". My question for my senator is this "why wasn't a recall sent out"? apparently a major car makers can get away with designing, building, and marketing a product with know problems which could lead to more serious issue. Since the issue deals with the power train, transmission safety, and the safety of the drivers , "how was gm permitted to simply issue a service bulletin? I followed the instructions and the dealership did not want to complete the work, "I had to write to gm and ask them to mandate the service on my vehicle. After the service my vehicle ran ok for a while, "but now I have strange shifting, slipping, clinking, and a violent jerk at times. How can the ntsb allow a vehicle with issues on the road? again, this is a question for my congressman and senator.
My vehicle dies while going 60 mph or at red lights, creating a dangerous situation in traffic or on the highway. At times when yielding it feels like I've been hit by another vehicle from behind, the transmission does not downshift normally, and the TSB (see attached) proves that general motors knew about this issue and did not notify customers or recall the vehicle for repairs. I have 2 issues with my vehicle and both issues remain unresolved even after utilizing the power train warranty. My vehicle was taken to the dealership for repairs multiple times, the "check engine" light was on the vehicle, no one checked it, and general motors did not honor its power train warranty obligations, "the defects remain unresolved". My vehicle is dangerous to operate, I have tried working with general motors to arrive at a solution, "but I should not be forced pay additional expense for issues general motors knew about a, issued TSB's warning dealerships, and made no effort to notify customers. I am reporting this issue to the ntsb before providing a 30 day notice of intent to sue, to general motors.
When I place my car in park, I get a message on my display that says “shift to park”. Once that message comes on, I cannot turn my vehicle off and have to keep restarting my car until the message goes away, so it does not drain my battery completely. It happens every time I shift to park.
This is the second time that my "serivce stabilitrak" along with the traction light has gone off and the engine light blinks constantly, within less than a 6 month period. I paid almost $900, with a dealership coupon, at grieco chervolet in fort lauderdale, florida, for the exact same problem, less than 6 months ago; now the same issue occurred today, on my way to work. Uncontrollable shaking and speed. I see lots of complaints for this issue on this website, so I am not sure how there is not a safety recall for this vehicle. No one seems to take this concern seriously, until deaths are reported, I suppose. Shameful! this car is going to cause an injury or fatality, if some agency does not look into this concern, that many chervy Camaro owners, are reporting.

The car starts to shake violently at any speed and it does it all models whether it switches between v4 or v6 or v8 mode. I am taking it into the dealership on 10/01/21. I have found one 106 complaints on your site since sept 21, 2021. The issue at hand is either a faulty torque converter and transmission. I have also found several hundred reports on the internet. And as of today gm has flushed the transmission only to have the problem happen again. I feel they know they have a costly issue at hand. I am more concerned about the safety factor and my family in the car and it decides to fail at highway speeds. Regards, [xxx] information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u. S. C. 552(b)(6).
When driving it started shuttering like it was road problems but it kept on getting worse then it started shifting hard taking off like it is gonna stall in middle of the road or if you take off and know you have plenty of time before the other car gets to you and it hard shifts at that time before you can get it to go to get out of the way the car is upon you braking hard honking it has done that a few times on me it is scary I’m having it fixed today to find out my extended warranty I paid for with the dealer does not cover to fix this the warranty runs out at 60,000miles mine has 64,000 so now it is costing me 452. 48 to fix this when there is so many complaints online same thing it should already be a recall not a law suit.
Car feels like you are driving over rumble strips when the road is clearly smooth. Tried buying new tires and nothing would fix it. Then looked online and found many thousands of people having same issue that has affected all gm 8 speed transmissions for several years. There is a TSB (technical service bulletin) 18-na-355 on it due to how many people have had this issue. It explains that gm was using fluid that had water issues in it causing all these issues and that the fix is to have it flushed out and replaced with something better. Gm was replacing the fluid themselves on unsold vehicles but any that were sold are apparently on their own as they want well over $600 to replace the fluid due to their incompetence. I get that things happen but companies should own up to their mistakes and just fix them. Not asking for anything special just fix your mistake and call it good. Called them and they just want to give a generic response of "you should get that looked at and fixed". Have been a large family of gm only vehicles but we have bought our last one.
Was involved in a hit n run June 13 2021. My insurance claim stated my car has 2 unrepaired recalls. The emblem hit me on the forearm.
Transmission in the 2016 and up 6 speed manual will pop out of second gear and making horrible grinding noises upon engaging and releasing clutch. I know several people who have had this issue and they told me gm is aware of the issue but ignoring it but it is a safety issue because it leaves a person in neutral in traffic when shifting to second it will go in and pop out. It is defective transmission housing in these expensive cars and mines has been doing it since I have had it and it is definitely the defective transmission housing and there is even a youtube video on it. This needs to be addressed before gm gets sued for this. Pandemic has made it even harder to get dealership to get stuff done because personally my car sat at butler Chevrolet in macon two months and they still never touched it and told us to come get my vehicle because they had no one to work on it and they had us in a loaner car with improper tags and registration issues and we reported that to local authorities and we are planning to sue them also if they don't settle for the discrimination and hard time they gave us letting my car sit months for no reason just to tell me they had no qualified technician to work on it and they had got my car full of ants and insects. We need this recalled so that anyone with these dangerous transmissions will get it repaired. Don't do your customers like this we are well aware of what's happening here. We pay good money for these cars. Recall these things before it leads to bigger class action issues and I'm a car truck guy and very mechanically inclined and have many friends who have these cars in manual and some of them have had transmission replacement due to defective housing and that solved the issue.
Cylinder 6 fuel injector failed at 23,800 miles and this part is not covered under power train warranty. It's a $900 repair!.
My Camaro began shaking violently when the car was stationary. I thought that maybe the car was cold due to me not really driving during covid,so after letting the vehicle warm up, I drove away. As I drove down my street, the transmission light, as well as all of the traction, electronic stability control lights came on. While continuing to drive, the car began to make hard jerking motions. I see that there are many complaints for the electronic stability control, electrical and power train complaints on the NHTSA website dealing with this same concern (as well as the key getting stuck in the ignition which is also a complaint. I want it documented just in case an accident, or god forbids a fatality happens, they will have been notified prior. This needs to be recalled. Please share with the manufacturer and/or Chevrolet.
Starter getting heat and not allowing the car to start properly or not at all . There is a lawsuit about this issue but never has happen in favor of the customers.
The car sometimes will not start. Key fobs have been replaced new from Chevrolet dealer also new battery and multiple Chevrolet dealers can not find a problem but many times the car will not start.

When I was driving on the highway going 65mph, what seems to be the transmission, kept stalling and wouldn't run any faster as I tried switching lanes. Almost hit the semi truck in front of me because my car wouldnt advance any faster. My vehicle only has 66,000 miles it's a 2016 Camaro v6 and already having transmission problems. It also doesn't go in reverse. Took it to the dealership and they didn't want to help me out because the warranty doesn't cover it anymore 60,000 being the end of it when mine was only 6,000 over.
My 2019 Camaro ss2 brand new shut down and restarted 3 times while in motion. Then I stopped killed engine and it wouldn't restart, couldn't turn on flashers, completely dead. I finally opened driver door and closed and was able to start it. The steering quit while parking, and periodically the car wont lock. Dealer said nothing wrong, no codes.
I bought this car a couple of months ago and as you accelerate there is a shuddering sensation that you can feel. You literally feel like you're being shaken. I had to do a google search to figure out what was wrong with the car.
Car jerking when shifting at any gear, seems like transmission going out. When speeding it feels like shaking.
Shuttering at low speeds coming to a stop and now having trouble with the reverse once in reverse it doesn't want to shift out of it fights you big time and have to play with it to get it back to first all other forward functions seem to be fine at this time this is a 6 speed manual transmission.
My transmission has an issue where it is difficult to shift into 2nd gear and sometimes when shifting into second gear, it kicks me out and places me in neutral. The housing on the transmission and the transmission is defective and the Chevrolet dealers do it want to help me!.
All factory maintenance was completed at a factory service provider, on or before recommended time/mileage. At 58k+/- miles driving at approximately 35mph engine suffered catastrophic failure due to timing chain failure, causing engine to seize, car lost all power steering, power brakes while entering a turn resulting in nearly running over pedestrians otherwise walking safely on the side of the street. Gm has recalled other vehicles with same engine but not the v6 Camaro for a timing chain failure.

P008 code. Timing chain issues. If this fails and the engine seizes while driving, all of us Camaro owners could be in accidents. Death could even occured. I bought my 2010 Camaro February of 2016. I'm am the 2nd owner and only put 66k miles on the engine. 85% to and from work. I've replaced everything possible to get rid of the p008 code but it's still there. You have recalled other vehicles with this issue why not us Camaro owners? please help is!.
Driving car non-aggressively on flat, city street going in a straight line - difficulty shifting into 2nd gear / 2nd gear is "spat" out when getting back on the throttle after giving a positive response to shift - remains an issue over the 3mo I've owned the vehicle.
When I'm driving in the highway at cruising speeds there is a shudder vibration coming from the transmission contacted gm took my car in to hendricks Chevrolet 3 months ago, the shudder came back contacted gm again asked for me to make an appointment with another dealer michael Chevrolet they denied to even look at my car now the person handling my case at gm will not return my calls every time I call they want to transfer me to faris the guy handling my case never get a call back I would really like this to get investigated I have exhausted my avenues and I'm very afraid I'm stuck with a lemon. It's only a 2017 with 28000 miles. I should not have to deal with this issue my last car never gave me problems and it had almost two hundred thousand miles. Please help me!!!.
Purchased car with 20908 miles on 12/18/19. Noticed engine rpms fluctuating about 200 rpms when at steady cruising speed 2nd day of owning car. 3rd day noticed bad shudder when in v4 mode along with rpm fluctuation.
Car jerking when shifting at any gear, seems like transmission going out. When speeding it feels like shaking. Havent had the car a whole year yet smh. . . . Got a transmission flush done but problem came right back. . . Chevy says everyone is having the same problem but since no recall has been issued its nothing they can do.
