While pulling through a fast food drive-thru, I applied the brakes and "brake assist" illuminated on the dashboard. This resulted in reduced braking with the abs module pulsating. Once at a complete a stop the brakes were still applied although my foot was not pressing the brakes. Giving the vehicle gas let the brakes release. The dealership said they could not duplicate the problem. It happened again and it was driven directly to the dealership with the light on. I have been without my vehicle for weeks and I'm being told it will be another 60-90days before gm has a new program to fix the issue.

I'm a owner of a 2011 Chevrolet aveo . 65,000 miles. I only had this car for about 15 months I have change out tires twice since I had it , I got my car fixed on 4 times already one being spark plugs , the container that holds the antifreeze replace, the brakes, and also the part that holds the oil that is removed during oil change metal was stripped when I went for my first oil change and I had to get that replaced. . . It slows down going up a heel and also when turning left or right especially on a heel. Just the other day I was driving up a heel and my brakes wouldn't push down my car had a electrical glitch that made my clock restart . . . Also there is a weird noise my car has been make from day 1 when I start driving it sounds like I'm driving a small helicopter that's about to take off I've been told that it was how those cars sound . . . . . Idk what to believe I hate I ever got this car the dealer dont even want the car back they only offered me 2,500 for the car I paid 11,000 for. I was told its not in high demand no one wants the car. . . .

The car was making a turn in inclement weather when it lost traction. In every effort to slow the vehicle, my husband (whom was driving) downshifted to third gear, as the car was sliding into a ditch the clutch stuck to the floor (as it has done before on several occasions and has been mentioned to the local dealership), the brakes went out, the e-brake was pulled in an intense effort to slow the vehicle during the loss of control from impacting an electrical pole. When the first impact was made into the ditch, all 4 curtain airbags deployed. After the second full frontal impact into the electrical pole, the driver's side airbag deployed, however, the passenger side airbag did not even though it had an occupant.
The contact owns a 2015 Chevrolet Camaro. While on an incline with the brake pedal depressed, the message ¿hill start assist is on" was displayed across the message board. The failure recurred on numerous occasions. The dealer was unable to diagnose or repair the vehicle. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 3,000.

I was pulling into a parking space making a sudden sharp left turn when the steering wheel locked up completely, brakes could no longer be depressed any further and the engine shut off completely. Once vehicle came to full stop, the ignition would not release my key or let me start the car after shifting it back into park. I tried shifting out and back into park, opening the driver door and closing it with no fix. After 3 minutes, the car finally let me start the engine and released the wheel, brakes and key. Onstar's diagnostic test at time of incident showed no problems. Went to dealership that evening and chevy's technician said there are no codes that pull up. The technician and I both reenacted the situation with their diagnostic laptop and could not get the car to do it again and I was sent off with "no known issues found".
Approaching a three-way intersection with a stop sign with intent to stop and turn right. Vehicle suddenly accelerated without accelerator input from driver. Driver was unable to brake/stop vehicle or effectively control steering/path of travel. Vehicle, according to state patrol, gains an estimated speed of 65 mph through intersection and collides with embankment/mountain hillside. At this time, car became airborne to an estimated height of 28' and landed on front driver side of vehicle first. Front airbags failed to deploy upon impact. Driver sustained a serious tbi(traumatic brain injury) & concussion due to blunt force trauma to the head due to lack of airbag deployment. Owner still continues to suffer from side effects of the tbi injury and wants to notify the public that life-threatening issues exist with this vehicle. To date, gm has issued two major recalls on this vehicle pertaining to what lead/caused the accident.
I have a manual v8 model. Whenever stopped on an incline, the hill start assist (hsa) engages. The first time I gave it plenty of throttle and the brakes would not disengage and caused me to stall. The 2nd time, I had the rpm very high and again the brakes would not disengage. My car was jumping up and down under the strain. When it finally released the car, I was greeted with the smell of burning clutch. This cannot be normal. I don't think hitting 2000 rpm and dropping the clutch should be a normal method to overcome teh hsa system. I have auto hill braking on other vehicles that are nearly invisible to me and work flawlessly. I been driving manual cars for 20+ years and have no issues on hill starts. One of the biggest issues is there is no way to turn off the hsa feature. I think you need to force gm to recalibrate the system and/or allow the driver to turn the hsa feature off.
Tl-the contact owns a 2013 Chevrolet Camaro. The contact stated that while 40 mph on a incline in the rain, the back end of vehicle veered to the right causing the vehicle to crash into a curb. The vehicle was repaired. The failure recurred on a separate occasions and the contact crashed into a light post. The air bags deployed. The police report was filed. The contact sustained a burn on the left wrist from the air bag and required medical attention. The vehicle was destroyed. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 2600. Ne.
I have had my car for 1 year. When I get to 55mph the steering wheel shake so bad, it's unbearable. This have been going on since I bought the car. I took it back to the dealership and they said it was the alignment. They aligned for me. Well it ran pretty good for a couple of days and then it started back shaking. I also have a problem with the rotors or brakes or something to that nature. It sounds like a 18 wheeler when I stop. The rotors or something make some kind of wobbling noise when I drive. I turn the radio down quite often so I can hear if anything is coming off from the brakes. I'm not paranoid, because passengers in the car ask me all the time, "what's that noise". For me to have a decent car like the Camaro, I don't understand. Can you please run a thorough check on the tires, rotors, brakes on these cars. Also check the trunk too, because sometime my trunk won't open with the key nor by pushing the button on the inside of the car. I am concerned because I purchased a car over $30k and I'm not getting any enjoyment out of it. I'm scared to drive too far because the rotors or something may come off. Help please.
I was going for a drive in my neighborhood. I was driving down a hill when the accelerator stuck. At the bottom of the hill was a bump in the road. After hitting the bump the engine turned off. I had no brakes and no steering. I then skid off the road into a tree. There was one injury, a lady in the back seat passenger side hit her head on the back of the front seat passenger. She had a huge goose egg on top of her head and a black eye.
Picked up car after being in back and forth all week at lucas chevy,in NJ. The car was driven less than 40 miles after they replaced the steering rack. Picked up on wed 8/8/12 after car was supposed to be done on 8/7. I had to bring the car back on 8/9/12 as the car was pulling and steering wheel off center. They never aligned the front end! I had to drop car back on 8/9/12 again that night as steering was binding and shuddering again!the dealer called me that Friday 8/10 and said the pick up the car everything was fine ,it was low on fluid. When I checked the fluid on wed 8/8 the fluid was clear as power steering fluid is. When I picked the car back up on 8/10/12 I had to bring back again because p/s reservoir was soaked with fluid/I also saw they switched p/s fluid to transmission fluid!the service manager who didn't even know where the reservoir was or how to remove the engine cover wiped it clean and said have a nice day. On 8/12/12 while trying to back in driveway the steering locked and is now clunking with a metallic grind and also the brake fluid reservoir was wet with brake fluid again after cap was replaced two months ago! I also noticed they replaced both outer tie rod ends without telling me or putting it on the paperwork!the car is so dangerous it had to be towed to lucas Chevrolet again!they are being dictated on what to do by gm legal as I had enough and filed a lemon law claim!its been to 3 dealers and has had a new steering column, intermediate shaft, angle sensor, srs coil, new tie rod ends and that just in the steering alone! what right is right, they did fix the clunking in the rear from the drive shaft on the first try!.
I pulled out of my parking place at my condominiums. I could not get my car to stop. The brakes were not working. This has happened many times over the years since I purchased the vehicle. I have taken it into the dealerships in my area on numerous occasions but they have told me they will only fix it if it does it while it is in their care. I have other people who have been driving my car when it has happened but it has not happened while I have been at the dealership. The most recent occurrence happened and I ran into poll and my bumper now needs to be replace.

I reached out to mr. Ackerman, gm ceo on may 24, 2013 with a strong concerns of power failure for the 2nd time while driving the vehicle; causing me not to have control while the vehicle was driven. Thus it was also noted that I originally reached out to gm to request a replaced vehicle while my vehicle was under warranty due to the vehicle losing power on a major freeway; which was life threatening; however the response back from gm was a declined letter that I received ensuring me that the vehicle was safe to drive. I travel major freeways as part of career so having a reliable vehicle is imperative as for I value my life. Ms. Alicia boler-davis , senior vice president of global quality & customer experience is not honoring the warranty too. After assisting me with my car for 5 months . Please not my 2010 Camaro ss is park as for it's not safe to drive. ( gm offer me a contract to sign that would guarantee "no fault to gm ". I couldn't not due them should my Camaro harm myself or others while driving it. I was told that gm knows there is a problem with the Camaro but can't find the problem. It's has been noted that the corrections that I need to have made in order to be safe in the gm vehicle cannot be obtained as for my vehicle has been keep chevy for shop 5 months. I just recently pick up my vehicle on September 6 and now Iã¢m returning the vehicle again on September 9th. 1. Acceleration pedal getting struck 2. Electrical failure( while driving the vehicle ) losing power 3. Seat belt 4. Getting stuck in gears I hope you can squeeze me in to take my case sincerely rochelle.

The first failure was at 4500 miles in the middle lane as car pulled infront and when I hit the brakes the car when into a skid and the steering wheel locked up at approx 40 mph. This defect did not crash the car. The second incident was at approx 70 on the free way as a car came through the triangle at a junction I hit the brakes the steering wheel cranked all the way to the right and locked up as did the braking system throwing me head on into a gaurd rail at approx 60. The air bags did not deploy as well. The following day at the car yard while the key was inserted by the technician the car said that that airbags depleted need replacing.
1. Convertible in the shop over 45 days. 2. Cables from top showing on driver and passenger side above windows. 3. Cable prohibits opening passenger door/makes opening driver door tough. 4. Exhaust rattles incessantly. 5. Had 2 broken bows on top at 1st. 6. Original top had a hole in it. 7. New top and 2 bows replaced. New top had wear marks in various places – when we got it back, and getting more thread bare each day. Marks were on it the day we got it back. 8. Other convertible owners state their wear went through all the way to the rivets. Other owners calling us from different parts of us to compare notes, same issues, same results with gm. Concerned top may fly off. 9. Rubber parts from top falling off/will not stay on. 10. Cannot put tonneau cover on or keep it on over 50 mph. It flys off & hits cars behind us. 11. Windshield cracked when top closed w motor drive. 12. Wind noise in it was less than our past new Camaros. Now noise level with the top up is noisy enough to have to yell when on speakerphone. At 1st, it was very quiet. 13. Large gaps on the side of the top where it meets the body when it is up – you could place your arm into the holes. Dealer fixed 2 times. 14. Spent over 2. 5g lettering the car for our business, decal-deleted, detail company waxing, tinted windshield and windows. Gm corporate says they will place us in a new hard top Camaro, but will not pay ttl, re-waxing, re-lettering car, decal deleting or tinting. Ok law states that ttl is indeed covered. 15. This is not a dealer issue, this is a gm issue. 16. Dealers cannot fix the top in a manner that gm has not put a service bulletin out on. We do not want to bring it back in until they have said bulletin. 17. We do not feel as though long gm fans should be out thousands of dollars for re-lettering, customization and ttl for getting a vehicle that they still claim that they do not know how to fix.
Design flaw. E-brake dragging constantly which eventually warps the rotor and if left alone makes a horrible clunking noise that almost sounds like your differential spit a tooth. A little difficult to explain exactly what's happening but find it hard to believe Chevrolet hasn't figured it out. Yes, of course they have! it's just that hundreds of people haven't died.

Since around 5000 I started to feel a ribration in the steering wheel while braking. It has slowly got worst till now at 10,000 miles. I am told it is the rotors and they a warped. Shoes have plenty of good pad left and no grooves are worn it the rotor face. The starting date is estimated date that the problem started.
When applying pressure to the brake pedal, the vehicle shook violently. The consumer took the vehicle to the dealer and the mechanic determined that the front rotors were warped and must be replaced. Ceramic brakes were placed on the vehicle which caused the rotors to warp.
The vehicle experienced a vibration, when the brake was applied.
