The second time service manager stated that gm was well aware of the problem, that all Cavaliers have it and there is nothing they can do about it. Service manager stated that it was caused by "travel" in the calipers.

Top brake pins came completely out of the brake caliper . Metal part of brakes were bent up. No injuries because of brake failure. The failed right front brake caliper was repaired by the consumer himself. The consumer also states that it was the third time the brakes were replaced in less than two year.
