The brakes have failed on three separate occassions. Pedal goes to the floor and you'll get stopped when it wants to stop. Last occassion occured at a 4 way stop intersection, which was the only reason my sister was not hit. Vehicle came to a stop in the middle of the intersection. Speed at the time was approx 5 miles per based on the shape that the railroad tracks are in that you must cross when approaching the second stop sign. This second stop sign is located less than 50 feet from the first stop. Rotors have been turned by the dealer, and the abs checked due to an emergency stop that I had to accomplish when a vehicle pulled out in front of me. Dealer is unable to duplicate, therefore it is considered safe to operate. I disagree, and feel the vehicle is not safe if you can not depend on the brakes.
