Failure Date: 07/06/2006

Blower motor on a/c quit working on truck on speeds 1,2,3 still works on 4, checked on the internet and the problem is with the resistor module that controls the speed of the blower. Spoke to gm dealer, and he advised that the problem was with the module overheating and causing the plug to melt and cause the resistor pack to become inoperable. No warranty on part according to gm dealer, wants $76 to fix problem, I am not paying for part due to obvious manufacturer defect that is a possible safety hazard that can and will cause risk of fire, injury or death.
