Unknown- 2015 chevy Cruze - the regulators in the automatic windows keep breaking- I have replaced regulators 3 times- and the two front windows will not go up or down now-I just fixed the passengers side window about a month ago and its broken again. - the clock does not keep time correctly- had a coolant leak twice - and the tires seem to lose tread pretty quickly- replaced tires a few years ago- does not have very good traction control- very difficult to see with glares no matter if its freshly cleaned-nothing but problems with this car- I usually love my chevy's but this car is a lemon- as soon as I paid it off all this started happening- and I can't afford another car at this point.

Oil is running from a cast nut that holds an alternator bracket to the engine block and with the car going down the road at highway speeds there' a strong possibility that oil coming from this cast nut that cant hold the bracket stable is letting the pressure of the oil to run out and possibly come in contact with the internal workings of the alternator and short it out with the possibility of a fire starting and causing other problems under the hood plus the chance of destroying the engine if the leak of the oil pressure pushes that end of the bracket out of the engine block and the oil will come out like water coming out of a water hose. What is happening now every time I drive the car and stop it leaves oil all over different parts of the engine compartment and the oil leaves a big puddle on my garage floor and I end up having to crawl under the car to clean excess oil off the engine and the garage floor on a regular basis. You tube is showing that several different people have this problem the bracket is pushing out due the fact that the cast nut is breaking down due to the heat and in turn oil starts running all over the top side of the motor and into different areas of the engine compartment. It might really give you a better ideal of this problem if you look on you tube concerning oil leak problems with the Chevrolet Cruze 1. 4l engine starting in 2012 and it started on approx. 10-15-2020 and continues to happen according to how far I drive and how long the engine is at operating temperature. If I can help you to help me and a lot of other people that are having this problem . Thanks for your time and I hope this can be taken care for the safety aspect! thanks again I really appreciate your help.

Vehicle is overdrawing battery current when motor is running causing electrical power loss at engine idle. Loss of electrical power causes engine to stall while in travel lanes. Alternator and battery are verified functional.

Also from the other complaint I've made on my 20011 chevy Cruze eco is that when I've tried starting my car it skipped then was having trouble starting so I took my key out and got another car and hooked the jumper cables up to it and let it charge for a little while then I put the key into the ignition and had trouble starting it up it started up first try just not as usual it took about a couple second instead of instantly starting up this make me believe that the cause of this is a faulty ignition or alternator the only damaged caused from the accident was the headlight and passenger fender and bumper body the only damaged part on the under the hood was the air box intake and a hose moved around but not damaged.

I will be driving when all of the lights on my dash start going on and off , power service track shows up, my radio will shut off and it becomes a black screen. I will be driving or stopped at a red light or turning and the car will actually completely turn off and start coasting. If I am at a stop light I will than have to put the car into park and then turn the key to start the engine again. I have had to jump my car numerous time to where I keep a portable jump in my car. My key will get locked in the ignition and I have to stick a wrench under the steering wheel to get it out. I have replaced my alternator and my battery was so swollen I had to replace that as well. The wiring was replaced to connect the battery and alternator and I just had the bcm replaced. I'm still having all these issues after all these repairs. This has been happening since November of last year and it happens every time I drive my car!.
The chevy eco Cruze has been giving me problems from the start. I was driving with the ac on and came to a signal light when the ac shuts of & comes back on. Also at the signal light I thaught I had gotten a tap from the back from another vehicle because the car jerked. Turned out no car behind me but car still jerks forward with foot all the way down on brake pedal. Next if I'm driving and slow down to make, let's say a left hand turn once I make the turn the car is sluggish as if it has trouble picking up speed. Happens all the time from a stopped position or if I slow down it takes for ever to pick up momentum. Making it scarey to merge or just be on the road. Also if I turn the radio up the lights will die or fade so I've replaced the alternator but it still does it. Ive checked connections wires you name it.

While driving my 2015 Chevrolet Cruze lt the radio shut off, lights flickered, service engine light came on, and other warning lights temporarily flickered on and off for a few seconds before returning back to normal. This happens multiple times daily often involving the power steering. While turning the vehicle, the radio will shut off, lights will flicker, and power steering will completely shut off causing the steering wheel to jerk while in the turning processes. The car has trouble starting often and sometimes will not start. The battery has been tested and is fine as well as the alternator. Sometimes the radio will shut off and not come back on until the next day even after restarting the vehicle. The largest and most dangerous issue I have had with my vehicle is the steering wheel locking up while turning. The vehicle wouldn't start on one occasion or even attempt to start and the key was locked in the ignition for about 30 minutes before finally the lights all came back on in the car and it started back.
While driving, radio display and speakers turn on and off. Started June 2016 and has progressively gotten worse. Seems to happen when turning the vehicle and or pressing the brakes. Stabilitrack/traction control error message appears on dash. All abs related icons flash. Sometimes it happens once. Sometimes it's repetitive until I turn the car off and then turn it back on. Doesn't matter how fast I'm going and the longer the trip, the more frequent it is. Based on what I've learned about this, it should be covered by special coverage 14311b but my dealership gives me the run around and asks silly questions about if my battery is in good condition and if I think I need a new alternator. If it was the battery, the radio/speakers wouldn't be the only item(s) that turned off. From what I'm learning, this problem gets worse and power steering or full vehicle function is diminished or goes off completely. Not sure what more needs to happen to chevy customers for chevy to make this a recall.
Less than 2 months after the warranty expired the window regulator center piece on the drivers side broke when using the power window control to roll the window back up. This vehicle has no circumstances that would cause this part to fail besides it being a faulty part. The window is stuck in the down position and the part has to be ordered from out of state. The repair cost is in excess of $300 which I should be reimbursed for. The vehicle was stationary at a drive through window at the time of failure.
My Cruze diesel around 30k miles, had an electrical issue which resulted in the dealership replacing the radio and other electrical nodes. Around 40k miles the battery and alternator went bad. None of which were covered by the dealership so I had to pay for it myself. Since 45k miles, the car has randomly popped up a message saying the engine power is reduced. I travel to large urban areas and this has happened to me in the worst of situations and I am lucky to be alive due to this issue. This now comes on often and is not covered by the chevy dealership I went to. I just purchased this car in 2014. Seriously considering the lemon law.
Car shuts down and it can not be restarted,(no dome light, no on start) no power anywhere. . Can't get keys out of ignition, going down the road, steering service light come on and off, radio display shuts down and restarts, gauges turn on and off. . Dealership has replaced battery, generator and it is still doing the same thing. Currently at dealership again. !. . . . Updated 07/31/14.
