Fuel leak in fuel tank (on top).
Keys constantly stuck in the ignition. The air bag always turns on and off. Now, there's gas leaking somewhere and you can smell it well after the cars off. I think it may be the fuel pump, which is very pricey. All these were recalled in the past but none of them included my car. ?? ??.
While car is running, fuel is leaking out the top of the tank. Fuel is leaking on exhaust, right under the tank. I have seen recalls on this year and model for a ring breaking around the fuel pump.
After work started to smell strong gas smell. Look under vehicle and seen puddle of gas. Shop says it a leak in the gas pipe and needs to be replaced.
Strong gas smell from right rear of vehicle that spreads throughout vehicle both parked and in motion.
Purchased a used 2007 Chevrolet Equinox 6 hours after purchase, service airbags light, service t tire monitor system and check engine light came on in the instrument cluster and gags guage stopped working. .
Car smells of gasoline and has trouble starting on the first attempt. Car will start on second attempt but has a very strong gas odor. After taking it to a local mechanic, the car was diagnosed as unsafe to drive and is confirmed to be leaking gasoline. There is a recall for this exact make and model but is listed as only impacting certain states (arizona, California, nevada, texas) but I'm in new jersey and have seen it also reported in ohio, south carolina and new york. This recall needs to be expanded and can be very dangerous!!!.

My car just recently started to smell like gas. At first, it was a faint smell. Now it is stronger. I can still drive the vehicle but I feel as if it is a safety hazard. I have two small children that ride in this vehicle. My gas meter still works and my range is accurate but the gas smell is becoming very overwhelming.
There seems to be a leak in the fuel line. There is a smell of gas inside and outside of the vehicle when stationary and while driving, which began in approximately March 2017.
Vehicle leaking fuel near right rear wheel. Fumes in vehicle.
The vehicle has stable track link error and will not go away, also the fuel guage doesn't work properly. The airbag is not working to protect my passengers in the front seat.

When I have a passenger in the seat the airbag never comes on and the airbag light stays on and tells me it needs service. Also all my gauges are all out of wack not sure if it is a recall or not once I hit 100,000 miles all these things came about. Also there was a recall on the fuel system and at the time I did not have a problem as of yet, on 9/29/15 I then smelled the gas and called mk smith Chevrolet to see if there were any recalls on this and they told me no, so I did take it somewhere else to be fixed due to it being cheaper for me and got it fixed and paid $633. 60. I have document for that. Now my key in the ignition does not come out and I hear a clicking noise by the ignition I'm not sure if that as well is a recall on the Equinox 2007. Please let me know if any of these problems are recalls on my vehicle. I just have read all these other complaints on the same issues on the Equinox 2007.
Noticed the smell of gas coming from my car. Also trouble starting. Checked gas cap and was fine. Drove around the rest of the day still very strong gas smell and issues when starting the car. Got home and looked up info and see that there are several issues. But of course my vehicle is not on the recall list. There was an obvious problem but only certain vehicles were recalled now mine is having the same issue. Safely risk and not a cheap fix.
I got this car from frederi k auto center in March. Ever since then I had problems. I told them I let them. Knkw about them and they always said nothing was wrong with it. The one time they were supoose to fix something they had the car for two days and rhey put tape all over the hoses ro stop the leaks. They also failed the MD inspection considering my wires are melted together and my ignition doesnt work right which wouldnt have pass. Then they repo it when I wqsnt late on my payemnt because I said I want it fixed sinxe it was sols that way or I will file a compalint. Everything qas illegal thatbthey did.

While driving either on city or freeway the car started shaking, jerking, and vibrating really badly when applied pressure to the accelerator pedal, the vehicle would not gain speed, instead it would slow down and it felt like gas was not going trough. The check engine light came on. Sometimes the key will not come out of the ignition and I have to turn the car back on then turn the wheel, but sometimes it takes more than this to get the key out from the ignition switch. I had vehicle towed to a Chevrolet dealership and they could not find anything wrong or could duplicate problem. When I picked up the car I had drive it 15 miles and the car started doing the same thing.
Car sputters and stalls sometimes while driving and sometimes when excelerating. Can be driving down the street or getting onto the freeway.

On November 17th the vehicle started to tell me that it was overheating and to turn a/c off. A/c was not even on because it was cold and the heat was blowing cold air. The vehicle then told me while I was trying to get to a safe location to pull over that the engine power was reduced and the vehicle stated to crawl along the road. When the vehicle was looked at where I pulled over there was minimal oil in the vehicle and it had blow coolant all over the driver side wheel well from what looked like the overflow tube. Oil was put in the vehicle so that I could drive it to a safe location. On November 18th I went to start the vehicle to go to work and without going any place but sitting in the driveway it started to tell me that the engine was overheating and to turn a/c off. The vehicle was towed. The dealership that I use worked on it and replaced the temp control and thermostat and did a complete oil change. In the few days after this work was done I could still hear the fan running while driving and once I parked it would run for a while. On November 25th I was driving and the vehicle stated to say engine overheating and to turn a/c off once again I had to travel a short distance to get a semi safe location to pull over since the engine power was reduced again and the vehicle crawled along. The heater was blowing cold air I could hear the fans running inside the vehicle as well. This was the second time I had to have the vehicle towed in a week. It is now November 30th and I still do not have my vehicle back because they are still "working" on it. I see a lot of 2006 Equinox's with the same issue not sure why this is not a recall because it is very inconvenient to not have a car and to miss work. I am sending pictures from the second time it was towed.
While driving either on city or freeway the car started shaking, jerking, and vibrating really badly when applied pressure to the accelerator pedal, the vehicle would not gain speed, instead it would slow down and it felt like gas was not going trough. It first started 3 months ago took it to for an oil change and the recommendation I received from service agent was to get fuel system cleaned and change the transmission fluids which cost me around $298. The same day it did the same thing while driving on the freeway, so I let it be for a while but it continues with the same problem and have contacted service agent but have no solution for me. The other issue it has is the key always gets stuck, and need to turn the car back on then turn the wheel, but sometimes it takes more than this to get the key out from the ignition switch.

There is a strong odor of gasoline coming from the right rear of the car. Looked up problem turns out there is a recall, but I wasn't told by general motors that they won't fix mine because codfish the plant it built in. This makes no sense to me as I'm having the same problem. Please help.
I was driving on the highway when the vehicle lost power and started shaking realy badly. . . I would push on the gas to try to gain power but the vehicle did not respond. I exited to the nearest autozone and had it testes. . Something to do withe the gsr valve and throttle and fuel system. So I changed the parts that I could but now it's having the same reaction. Now the air conditioning is not working properly as well. I've had to buy tires but they keep wearing because something is wrong with the stability track. The air bags need service. And now just two days ago something is wrong with the speedometer. The motor also makes a weird sound. . . Over all I don't feel safe in my vehicle anymore. Now the vehicle still shakes and I have to buy tires again. It shakes very badly. Ai just did an oil change and it already needs more oil.
I am smelling a strong gas smell while my vehicle is parked. I have read that other people have had the same problem. I have read that it is a problem with a cracked fuel module. Is there a recall on this? I am on a very tight budget and cannot afford a huge repair bill. I am going to take it to a local repair shop for a diagnosis and estimate for repair. If there is a recall, could someone send me information on this?.

About a month ago we started smelling gas both inside and outside the vehicle. After a few weeks the vehicle was starting to have trouble starting where it would sound like the car was "flooded" and wouldn't turn over right away. I took the vehicle to the Chevrolet dealership today and they diagnosed the problem as a cracked fuel module system that was leaking fuel. I have read thousands upon thousands of complaints regarding this part on this particular Equinox and there is even a recall on the part but in only 4 states which isn't fair to rest of the owners that are suffering the same problem.
The contact owns a 2007 Chevrolet Equinox. The contact stated that there was an odor of fuel outside of the vehicle and there was also a visible leak. The vehicle had not been diagnosed or repaired. The vehicle was not sold nor was it currently registered in any of the states listed in NHTSA campaign id number 12v459000 (fuel system, gasoline). The failure mileage and the VIN were unavailable.
The Equinox appears to have a fuel system failure. I have looked up Equinox recalls and there are over 40,000 of the same year, make model, my VIN is not included. The car has a strong gas smell coming from the back of the car. I have read testimony after testimony online of other people with the same year make and model also not being included in the recall. Last year we had to replace the egr valve as well and it appears it is in similar circumstance. (registering hundreds of complaints for it's failure as well) we would certainly like gm to make a totally recall on the fuel system failure that is evidentally extremely more wide spread than they are acknowledging. The dealership has said it is more than likely going to have to replace the pump starting at $900, as a teacher this is not a reasonable feat. Please help us get this problem fixed for both the fuel system and the egr valve. Thanks!.
I kept smelling a strong odor of gasoline and even when people would just walk by my vehicle the could smell it. I looked online to see if there was a safety problem like this and there was a recall on my type of vehicle for this very same problem. I called trying to get it fixed without me having to pay for it but they said my VIN number was not one that was recalled. I had to get it fixed becuase I was a safety hazard. It cost me $790 and I am a single mother and can't afford to pay for it myself. I think it is only right that I be reimbursed for my costs.

Gas can be smelt when the car is in park the car does not start the first time the ignition is turned, it takes two tries for the car to start.
