Car been having coolant leaks, & electrical problems , windows stop working then start working again , & overheating even after repairs, car won't start now it shut off while in motion.
The contact owns a 2000 Chevrolet Impala. The contact stated that coolant was leaking out of the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to the dealer who diagnosed that the lower plentun was melting as a result of it being too close to the motor and recommended having the component replaced. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure who did not offer any assistance. The vehicle was not repaired. The VIN was not available. The failure and the current mileage was 126,000.
5/1, 5/2--ignition simply clicked . It took several minutes to get it started in each case. Took to repair shop--could not find the problem. Not the battery. 5/6, 5/8--engine died while I was driving down the road. Ignition clicked when tried to restart. Taken to repair shop again--could not find the problem. Chronic--since I have had the auto the "low coolant light" shows. This last time at repair shop, I was told that auto was leaking coolant--most likely gasket and would be very expensive to repair.
