I believe the passenger seat occupant sensing and airbag issues from recall 16v507 have not been fixed. I am still having issues related to it, even though I had it fixed.

None.
Unknown srs light comes on and stays on I'm afraid the system will not work properly in an accident.
"air bag malfunction light is on. There is a NHTSA campaign number: 16v507000 (air bags, electrical system) which I am associating with the failure and it tends to happen at the 80,000 mile mark which this car is almost at. Why isn't this VIN included in the recall? it's a 2009 chevy Impala. Shouldn't this recall capture all of the 2009 chevy Impalas?.
We bought a vehicle as is from a dealer and when we drove away the air bag comes on and off.

The service airbag light comes on in the dash. Whether someone is in the passenger seat or not, the light came one and it stays on most of the time. I looked up recalls for my VIN, and it wasn’t included in the previous recall. (recall number 36110 passenger presence sensor and instrument cluster) but it has the same issue as all of the other 2009 Chevrolet Impalas recalled for the same exact thing. I purchased this car in December 2020 from the state of michigan so I am the second owner. My VIN should be covered under the recall. I need it fixed and it’s no okay that as dealership won’t cover my vehicle and it has the same issue. Why didn’t Chevrolet just recall all of this year, regardless of VIN? gm saving money at the cost of mine and my families safety is not okay!.

Saftey air bag . . . Light come on and stays on.
On 1/2/2021 I was traveling on the highway when I had a front end crash at 60 mph and none of the air bags deployed causing injury to myself.

Purchased vehicle and the following day the right front headlight went out and had to be taken in for electrical problem. Later about 4 months after purchase the air bag in the front passenger seat started to make a knocking sound and then stopped. Just recently it began making the knocking sound again when I open my car door, as well as close it. It lasts about 3 minutes and then stops.
This same problem occurred on our previous 2009 chev Impala, in that the "service air bag" message started showing on the dic intermittently, then constantly. I am finding multiple cases of Chevrolet vehicles doing this on online forums, with high bills from chevy dealers, but the problem is not solved. I am attaching a photo of the damage from hitting a deer that did not deploy airbags on our previous 2009 was totaled. We just purchased another 2009 because we love the design of the car, but after driving 4. 5 hours home, the very next day we are seeing the "service air bag" message on this car.
Had car repaired and was informed that the passenger airbag is malfunctioning. I cannot afford $900 for a new one. Is there someone who can help me with this issue?.
My Impala has had airbag issues since 2016 display panel constantly says to service air bag especially when someone sits in the passenger seat. I received the airbag recall notice back in 2016 and took the car to the dealer. They rewrapped the wires under passenger seat and system was ok for around 6 months then it started doing the same things with same issue. Stating to service air bag and when in passenger seat is the only time it says this and it also displays that the passenger air bag is off.
The car started to state the airbag needed servicing. I looked up the issue online and saw the recall for my make and model. Recall number 273230. The NHTSA number is 16v507000. Separately, the steering wheel is incredibly stiff when starting the car, and while making turns. Need both arms to force the car to turn. There is no issue with power steering fluid. The steering loosens a small amount when applying pressure on the gas.
Car was parked at home on street. When I started the car service air bags message was on panel. Car only has 50,800 miles. No dealers were open on Saturday, and I was afraid to drive the car to work. Missed a day of work, and maybe more days depending on repair time.
Cleaned interior of CA while sitting still in driveway. Service seat belt warning appeared in information center display. Had the code read at mechanic. Seat belt pretensioner was found to be the issue.
Air bag service light comes on and won't go off. A lot of people on the internet are also having trouble.
The passenger air bag will not turn on. It is disabled and the digital reader below the speedometer flashes service airbag. Dealer said there is no recall and it's fixed?.
Possible takata airbag recall ? the dash displays check airbags every time the vehicle is in use, stationary or driving, stays continuously lit. This airbag display and symbol never goes off. Airbag symbol stays on continuously on dash also. Very concerned about my family and my own safety while operating this vehicle. For over a year now, an airbag red light comes on sporadically along with a beeping noise. I can't afford the hundreds of dollars the local dealership requires to check it out to see if it is the drivers side or passenger air bag. I just want to know if it imposes any danger. They say it may me just a faulty system and that it doesn't necessarily mean that the airbag wouldn't deploy in an emergency. But they have to take the whole front side out to check. The labor time is quite price. Also, when using my remote, the door locks stay locked off and on. No rhyme of reason. It has been going on for over a year; but your form here makes me put just one date down in order to proceed.
Service air bag . How do you do it?.
Takata recall I recvied a recall from tk holdings inc.
Takata recall, traction control (abs) 1. Service air bag 2. Service traction control, abs light comes on. Car loses power when pressing on the gas pedal.

"service airbag" warning displayed on dashboard. Dealership denies this is a common problem and says there is no recall. Numerous complaints by people are listed on the internet. Please investigate. Chevy needs to fix this manufacturing defect at no charge to vehicle owners.
I have problem trying to get the passenger air bag fixed. The light keeps coming back on after they try to fix it. A recall was done but that was only to tape wires and light was still on. The car was not in as accident.
Tires: are constantly needing replaced have had three sets of 60k goodyears tires in addition to a set of perillis with about 40 % tread since febraury 2015. Brakes: three sets of brakes on vehicale since February 2015. Everytime vehicale goes to mechanic they state that rotors are severly warped. Electrical: having issues with abs traction control. This is causing reduced engine power when turning. When crossing a main intersections the car coasts across oncoming traffic. Actuators and wiring to many vehicale components having ongoing issues. Air conditioner, doors, door locks, relays the main issue I am having is non operational doors locks in vehicale. I have to craw through the car to open the dppr locks. I have young children and my daughter was standing out of the car awaiting me to unlock the doorr. Another vehicale pulling into a parking spot nearly hit my child. Another incedent was having items stolen from vehicale due to intermittacy of the locks. It has really become a major safety issue for me with this car. This issue with locks became a problem about two weeks ago. I stated to chevorlet I was able to press lock or unlock a couple of times and was always able to at least free one lock within the rear and front. Any help with this issue would be greatly appreciated thanks ra' ed abdel-hadi.
