Fuel Injector Problems of Chevrolet Impala

The contact owns a 2006 Chevrolet Impala. The contact stated that the vehicle hesitated to accelerate and decelerated while on the highway. The dealer replaced the fuel injector, throttle body and reprogrammed the computer, but the failure recurred. The vehicle was not repaired a second time. The manufacturer was not notified. The failure mileage was 98,000 and the current mileage was 106,000. The VIN was unavailable.

While driving this car it would just stall or die as if someone had reached over and shut the car off and would not start for a few days. I have brought this car to two mechanics and neither were able to stop the problem but told me that different parts were the culprit, so 800 dollars later I have replaced the fuel filter, fuel pump, crank shaft position sensor, mass air flow sensor,replaced the battery, tested the alternator, tested the fuel injectors both hot and cold, tested the ignition module and still the car died leaving my child and I stranded on the side of the freeway in cold temperatures. I then called a gm dealership whom said another 120. 00 just to look at it and said they couldnt find the problem . This is outragous!.

Fuel leaks from the hose that conects to the fuel injector presure regulator on my 2003 Chevrolete Impala from time to time with no regular schedule. I am afraid that at some time a fire could reault from this leakage. Sometimes this happens at start up and then at other timess for reason at all. It is a small amount of leakage. When I detect the smell,I stop and push down on the hose where it connects to the pressure regulator and it seems to stop the smell and the leak.

The contact owns a 2007 Chevrolet Impala. The contact stated that the vehicle was leaking gas from the fuel tank. The vehicle was taken to a local repair shop who where they were unable to locate the origin of the fuel leak. In addition, the mechanic advised that the throttle body injector was defective. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and did not offer any assistance since the vehicle was not included in NHTSA campaign id number: 06v419000 (fuel system, gasoline:storage). The vehicle was not repaired. The failure and current mileage was 86, 000.
