6 Fuel Hoses Lines/piping And Fittings problem of the 2006 Chevrolet Malibu

Failure Date: 03/01/2012

Approx a few months back I filled up my gas tank, as I started down the road my gas gauge went from full to empty and my fuel light came on and so did my engine check light. It did it several times throughout the day. By the next day it was fine and has been fine up until about a week ago. The gas gauge is erratic and the engine line comes on. In 2007 when I bought the car I also had issues with it starting up and when I would shut it down it would continuously stay crunked. I took it to the dealership and basically they gave me a document id#2001730 report that it was a normal condition. I still continue to have issues with my car starting. I started to do research on my car and see many complaints about these same issues. I did take it to the dealership and they say the fuel level sensor shorted out and I need to replace fuel pump. I see there is a recall on fuel pumps but apparently not for my vehicle in particular.

9 Fuel Hoses Lines/piping And Fittings problem of the 2008 Chevrolet Malibu

Failure Date: 07/01/2009

My 2008 chevy Malibu ltz has transmission problems. It stalls out when you go from park to the 1st gear, than from 1st gear to 2nd and from 2nd gear to 3rd gear. What happens is the transmission stalls out long enough to cause an accident or other type of incident. This problem happens most of the time and has been going on now for six months. It has stalled out climbing vail pass, the eisenhower tunnel climb and descent and I-70 est of I-15 in utah through the high elevations. This vehicle intermittently goes into neutral and than re-engages. Furthermore, when the car shifts from 2nd to 3rd it goes into a stall and the rpm's increase to around 4000 before it actually changes into the next gear. . . The other severe problem is while driving my car through a very long tunnel on 9-17-09; the fuel gage went from full to empty (no fuel) and low fuel lamp came on. On-star said "system has an electrical problem". The cause: fuel vapor line hanging up fuel level sender causing gauge to read inaccurately j7815 (code p0461) found in bulletin #09-06-04-007a.

I bought in August of 2000 four monts after I have had this car my problems began since then the car has been in the shop at least 10 times for the same problem the engine light comes on and the car shakes and stalls out. Paddock Chevrolet has given me false hope about the car they said they fixed the problem from fuel filters fuel injectors but the problem still occurs they had even after time admitted they can not fix the problem. Recently the problem has gotten worse I have a daughter who just turned a year and all I want is to feel safe on the road I have missed work a couple of time because of the problem and nothing is being done.
