Side/rear Glass Problems of Chevrolet Malibu

Tl the contact owns a 2016 Chevrolet Malibu. While driving approximately 35 mph, the contact noticed water accumulation in the back seat and dripping from the ceiling. The contact drove the vehicle to sandy sansing Chevrolet (6200 pensacola boulevard, pensacola, florida 32505) where it was diagnosed that the brake light on the rear windshield was allowing water to enter the cabin of the vehicle. The dealer also found that the antenna was leaking. The antenna was repaired but, a week later, a mildew odor developed, emerging from the trunk area. The vehicle was taken back to the same dealer, but they refused to repair the third brake light because they had already repaired the antenna. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 40,000.

Proably not important, but. Chevy Malibu maxx. Bought used. 60,000(ish) miles 'cracked' windshield, 62,000(ish) miles. Glass tech reports windshield had already been replaced once. 2 broken windshields in 62,000(ish) miles??????? I am not complaining about glass tech/CO. Likely coincidence, but, in case. . . .

While driving to work this morning (at 6:40am 3/30/05), the driver's side window totally (100%) shattered. I was driving on the freeway at 65mph. All the windows were rolled up and the heater was on. I was alone in the car and was not injured in any way. The outside temperature was in the 40's and the sun was shining on the window (a clear morning). To the best of my knowledge, the window was not impacted by any object. No cars or persons were on my left side. Most of the window ended up on the car's floor and in my lap. Some pieces remained stuck in the frame.
