2014 Chevrolet Malibu. Consumer writes in regards to windshield visibility problems. The consumer stated the same the day the vehicle was purchased, he noticed problems with the windshield visibility because the ac system went out of control throwing the air directly to the windshield and the consumer had difficulty turning it off. The next day, the consumer was unable to see out of the windshield again. A few months later, it happened again and the consumer went to the dealer, and the consumer was then informed, the vehicle was recalled for the very issue. However, the dealer claimed the issue was fixed, before the vehicle was sold to the consumer. The consumer continued to experience the problem with the ac. I have bought this Chevrolet Malibu 2008 brand new car two months ago. When I bought it I drove the car and I asked the customer representative if there is something on the windshield. The rep. From dean myers said is nothing and it gets off when is detailed. Is unsafe to drive like that as I can not see clear through all the windshields so I got the car in for inspection. They said is not their fault and called a gm representative. They said is not their fault as well. At the end they advised me to get in touch with my insurance as it could have been an "acid rain or something". The car was like this when I bought it and I bought lifetime warranty for inside outside. This is a ridiculous resolution for my problem. I didn't noticed though this problem got worst when they rust proof it. Do not buy from dean mayers car dealer from toronto!!!.

The windshield of my vehicle started to develop bubbles beneath the surface of the glass. I was informed by a glass repair company that this is a defect in the glass(at the manufacturing stage). I cannot seem to get any satisfaction from the dealer or the vehicle manufacturer.

This vehicle has been in the shop numerous times for repair. Parts of the ignition and fuel system were replaced less then a year ago. Recently a loud whistle noise could be heard coming from the dash area of the vehicle. We took it to the dealer in twin falls, id, who stated that it was a piece of molding that had come off from under the vehicle (another problem) and that was causing it. They were too busy to fix it, and I was in the process of moving to boise, id. I took the vehicle to the dealer in boise who stated that they knew wxactly what the problem was. I was told by the service writer that they had several Malibu's come in with the winshield not properly seated. He told me that they had to remove the windshied and reseal it. I dont know how many more vehicles are out there like this, but we have had nothing but problems with ours.
