One problem related to other fuel system hoses lines/piping, and fittings has been reported for the 1997 Chevrolet S10. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
One of the fuel lines under the cab rusted through and is allowing fuel to leak above electridal contacts to air bag sensor. Seems like this is a safety hazard. The sensor is also corroded. The fuel lines are not protected from road salt and debris.
